QUOTE(TristanX @ Jun 26 2008, 10:07 PM) Well, I had this idea after Prasys stated that you get better connection if you stay near a DSLAM. Thank him instead. I was just sharing what I did. hehehe You got the point here. With your permission , I am going to use your tips to come up with this |

QUOTE(daimon @ Jun 27 2008, 01:50 PM) weird heh~ my DSL light blink for a few minutes then my speed bcome 400kbps di ~_~ Like i've said. IT IS YOUR Phone Line . When its unable to handshake at 1Mbps , it automatically falls back to any speed that it can think that the connection is able to sustain a connection. Call up telekom instead of ranting it here. Its because your line is terrible and there is no way you'll be getting 1Mbps (you might but with timeouts and disconnections)before the blinking happend it has ard 1M for download ARGHZ~ Added on June 27, 2008, 2:00 pm WHAT IS UR PROBLEM PREVIOUSLY? |

QUOTE(daimon @ Jun 28 2008, 01:51 PM) Your modem is your local Intranet (meaning your local internet). Certainly its going to be fast. try to use a bad cable or bad lan card , you might notice timeouts as well. There are many factors that you should take into consideration. timeout occus when you ping TmNets DNS is because of your bad line quality. There is no point of you ranting here everyday. I've said this a couple of times and I will say this again - Call Telekom and complain your phone line is bad. You may have to pay some for them to rewire your line or so. Who knows after this your line might be better as your problem is related to your phone line. You shouldn't be having any packet losses to TMNets DNS or to their gateway |

That your internet connection is slow ;P. Give telekom time , let them fix it. If they can't do by all means , you could fire em up.

I think most of you guys haven't tried other broadband providers yet such as Maxis. If you do have the chance , please go ahead and try it. Compare it with your streamyx. If its better then move on otherwise stick to streamyx. For most of the gamers , its better for you to stick with ADSL !

Finally managed to use my SSH backup connection. i'm able to access international sites and its somewhat fast. Without my SSH Proxy , I cannot even load any single site out there and its way too slow. Even google search timeouts.

This is turning into Y.A.R.T (Yet Another Ranting thread). i am going to lock this as We have our own Ranting Thread
I love your spams honestly. You guys may have to do some research on consumer DSL. As the old saying goes grass is greener in the other side. Once you step into that country. You'll know how their broadband works !. Thread locked Kindly use the Rants thread to vent your anger. |
