China's richest celebrity donated 500,000 yuan (S$98,000) to a relief fund, sparking fierce criticism on the Internet that it was too little from a basketball hero known for his charity work. Last year he earned some US$55 million (S$75 million) from basketball and sponsorship activities.
So,do you think Yao Ming is stingy or very stingy ?
Given that amount to you, how much would you yah donate to the current disasters ,Cyclone Nargis and Earth Quake ?

Don't donate. China deserves this punishment for its corrupt officials & leaders. The whole country is corrupt. You reap what you sow.
I propose all the architects, engineers, bosses & officials who made & approved those poorly built buildings be hung to death. Assets of those hung will be sold to help those who survived the earthquake.

ppl got donate good enough lar... who are we to say how much he should be giving. are you giving ANY??
This is life. His fancy criticized la.And strangely ,he later increased the donation although still not yet enough, to his all fancy.
No need query of my sincerity. If u really read the link below . From the way I posted , u should smart enough to detect. But I think mod knew it, I am sure.
i will not donate to this cause because donations are literally pouring in from all sources. it maybe out of sincerity but more likely publicity for most.
fyi, there's a lot of malaysians who doesn't have food. secondary schoold children who doesn't even know their alphabets. are anyone here who's condemning Yao Ming for his "generosity" doing anything for these ppl?
want to help the world? start by helping your families and "neighbours"
that's what's wrong with ppl.. everyday complain only... never reflect on themselves out of the thousands who complains who actually really gave themselves??
don't get me wrong.. i think it's great that ppl are lending a helping hand in cases like this. it does shows great humanitarian. but to take this chance and criticise others is when you have done nil.
