I'm seeking for a new HU Around rm100-550

Any recommendations?

So far im looking at these 2 models.

Dual XDMA7715 - RM 500

but don u hav other choices better than these 2?

well.. i wanna try sumthing new than ALpine, Pioneer and Clarion ma.. haha.. tats why i ask for recommendations here..

got other brand to recommend just intro me lo.. haha..

both pioneer and kenwood has some bang for buck players....

CD Receiver with MP3 & WMA support... and also USB support. under RM500.

can show me some models.. haha..

do a search for USB in automotive garage and ull find it... i too lazy wanna do

i'm using panasonic HU CQ-C9800. Bought it for almost 2k 2/3 yrs back. Serves me very well till now and improves my SQ very much compare to stock player.

okok.. so where got sell this player tat 1 want in Malaysia.. haha..

i dunno if malaysia got. I got it from oversea, not malaysia. Try asking other forumer if they got sell.

i think u can ask any of ur frens in aussie to get for u, i found the description available in aussie panasonic site. can try ur luck there. I think this CQ- C 9800 is replaced by a newer version d. Try searching around for panasonic 70Wx4 one.

cap ayams HU not so bad nowadays...make sure u have one year warranty

that one i think need amp to play, but no need so expensive one, juz a standard 2 ch amp can do d. cos HU produce abt 20W rms per cannel which i think would be far too little for the set.

well.. i plan on buying Kenwood MP5039U.. with USB input and AUX.. 24bit DAC.. around rm 470 like tat.. should be good enough for normal use right..?

i'm using Kenwood 5039U.. its below RM 500 and it does comes with an AUX and USB.. the interface is kinda attractive black and birhgt blue lights. i just got it for about a month now and still no complain about it. hehe check it out at http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/670402

All branded entry models are between $400 to $500, semua boleh pakai at about the same level.

If you're really into 'true-sound' your current Alpine is a much better CD deck than most current CD player off the shelf.

i heard alpine is quite cheap @ ur place.. not sure y but a fren told me it is.. not sure how much eclipse cost there but definitely a better choice than alpine..

Ya, one of the good feature for eclipse is the high output voltage. Even the low end range already comes with 5v. Compared with alpine and pioneer, these two have high output only for their highest range HU.

owh really? im into 'natural' or 'true sound'. I do like the sound of the midbass produced, i.e. rolling drums, voice, guitar riff (of course i think would be better if connected to an amp for the components)

pioneer also claim this 6050UB is the best in producing natural sound.. but i never heard it. its difficult to find pioneer in miri.. and testing of HU before buying.. all the shop will convince u to buy using saliva only. only got few 1 - 2 unit to test onli

yea.. Alpine here everywhere got.. cheaper rm 100-150 than lowyat price actually.. but have to drive very far to find.. haha..

My previous sifus always say 'save the money to buy better ICE components, no point buying cheaper ones only to upgrade it in the near future', that is once after kena poison. But of course be realistic lah, not to say you have to save until hundreds of thousands.

ICE normally can tahan one, not like PC, the longer you wait, the thing obsolete in a few months already.

BTW, are u hooking it up to an amplifier. Are u an avid ICE enthusiast. If not, then no need to splash so much money lah. As long as it is reputable aftermarket HU, definately the sound will be better than the stock HU.

whts ur budget?? rm500?? go for pioneer 3050ub..

well, would suggest you go a little higher and get kenwood 5039..works good for me

ths is better choice too..or move to 6050 pioneer...
