i heard alpine is quite cheap @ ur place.. not sure y but a fren told me it is.. not sure how much eclipse cost there but definitely a better choice than alpine..

Ya, one of the good feature for eclipse is the high output voltage. Even the low end range already comes with 5v. Compared with alpine and pioneer, these two have high output only for their highest range HU.

My previous sifus always say 'save the money to buy better ICE components, no point buying cheaper ones only to upgrade it in the near future', that is once after kena poison. But of course be realistic lah, not to say you have to save until hundreds of thousands.

ICE normally can tahan one, not like PC, the longer you wait, the thing obsolete in a few months already.

BTW, are u hooking it up to an amplifier. Are u an avid ICE enthusiast. If not, then no need to splash so much money lah. As long as it is reputable aftermarket HU, definately the sound will be better than the stock HU.
