Add in salt will somehow decrease temperature of solution and make taste cooler & nicer. Besides, ice-cream is an alternative choice.

QUOTE(SeLrAhC @ May 18 2008, 10:39 AM) i dont see how adding salt will decrease the temperature... chemical reaction ... endothermic. Breaking ionic bonds of salt will gain energy from cola, thus reduce temperature. *I think so* This post has been edited by work_tgr: May 18 2008, 11:39 AM |

QUOTE(howszat @ May 18 2008, 11:55 AM) Salt breaks ionic bonds of the ice lattice which absorbs energy... but no ice here so doesn't apply. *me thinks* Correct also. This recalled me what I had learn in school many years ago. *ooo .. a bit off topic*Btw, I seldom drink cola , after I saw how cola acts at cleaning solvent in toilet bowl ... so sparkling !
