Micro crack already formed below my cymbals as well.
Maybe I need to lay off that One Armed Scissors for a while... Yeah...a [insert cymbal brands here]-branded replacement cymbals could be nice... |

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Jan 4 2009, 04:39 PM) Hahaha, maybe he was not biased, more like he was too used to Rock Band. One of my friend who owned Rock Band on PS3 tried out my GHWT drums last weekend and he felt the drums was harder. I personally thought RB was harder, when I used GHWT drums on it. Too bad, my friend didn't get to try the GHWT drums on RB coz the drum went kapoot just before we could play RB. Anyhooo...managed to fix the snare (red drums). Kinda scary at first coz I thought I snapped the wire. But then, I just continue as per instructions that blacktrix posted (minus the electrical tape. I forgot to buy it so I used masking tape as temporary solution) and it worked so well, I felt like doing it on other pads. |

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Jan 5 2009, 05:19 PM) Yuppies...I guess in the end, both game are extremely enjoyable in their own rights.Oh btw, I got 'em USB MIDI cable at Low Yat Plaza last weekend. But since I didn't managed to visit All IT in time, I bought the one that is slightly more expensive at around RM 80 after discount. So, if any GHWT drumset owner near Cyberjaya/Taman Equine/Shah Alam that might need retuning, just PM me and I'll try to arrange a visit when I'm free. While I might be able to revive your drumset based on my own experience, I'm pretty clumsy and inexperienced around circuits and cables. So for that, I suggest that you contact pros such blacktrix to assist you. |

QUOTE(smellyocheese @ Jan 14 2009, 07:24 AM) Hi guys. Wanna ask you guys if its reliable for me to get the GH: World Tour Guitar Bundle from Play-asia. would i get taxed or anything? Well...the thing with imported items, usually the larger the size of a package, more chances of it being taxed.Getting it from PA being that its the cheapest price i can find in any of these parts. Round KL all 350 above..PS only rm318, cheaper if i use coupons... So, I think yours will be taxed. QUOTE(blacktrix @ Jan 14 2009, 06:54 PM) Just wait for your V-Drums woh, you can use that excess money elsewhere. Like moer games? |

QUOTE(terranova @ Mar 19 2009, 12:02 PM) Rock Band & Rock Band 2 are region locked on the xbox 360. So it won't play on Asian console. If you have a US console, then lucky you, you can play RB and RB2. Assuming you have an Asian console, your second question is moot. On the other hand, RB & RB2 on the PS3 is not region locked. FYI. QUOTE(obiwankedah @ Mar 19 2009, 02:00 PM) Actually, Rock Band 1 already available for Asian consoles for sometime: http://multiplay.lowyat.net/2008/09/26/a-y...sian-xbox-360s/So for now, only RB2 is region lock. Yup, GHWT instruments is compatible with RB, just that, for drumset you will only use 4 pads since RB used 4 only compared to GHWT which used 5. Trogdor posted a compatibility guide sometime ago, maybe you want to check 'em out. adix4, steellusion: What I've knew so far, no full band bundle for GH Metallica. So, if you want to play Lars Ulrich, I guess you got to get them GHWT first. Also, what I've knew so far, for Malaysian release, no extra pedal bundle for GH Metallica. That being said, I do hope distributor and retailers could work something out for the game. |
