yes those stuff all gone. phonebook sms and e mail all also will be gone. but contacts, and calendar and tasks shud be synced with active synced. u can also try PIM back up, to save contacts, tasks, and calendars as well as sms. but IMHO its better to start fresh with the sms, dunno why i feel restoring sms from PIMbackup somehow lags the device like crazy

as for reinstalling your software all....i havent tried it myself, but u shud have a look at Shashimi(google, cannot find then i find for u). Mind u i havent try before, as my stuff in storage card installed, i can just copy paste a new shortcut and it runs. those which dun run get error must reinstall.

sms use PIMBackup like i said bro. and again i'd advise against it. u see lor. if u find after restoring sms your entire pda lag, even after soft reset, hard reset, restore everything except sms this time lor
