I seem to get a lot of random crashes while using FF3 RC2. No specific website where the crashes appear more often, it happens very randomly.

Perhaps you have a corrupted profile? Create a new profile instead. Backup your bookmarks and import it to the new profile also to ensure you do not lose them.

RC3 somehow uses less memory compared to the previous builds, running with a single window, consume 45MB

QUOTE(cyew86 @ Jun 14 2008, 09:28 PM) RC3 somehow uses less memory compared to the previous builds, running with a single window, consume 45MB are you comparing with RC2? Unless you are using Mac, there is no difference between RC3 & RC2 on Windows & Unix platforms. They have the same build number.

They have the same build number. my bad, after prolonged usage, the memory consumption shot up from 50MB to about 90MB by itself. so it is practically the same

QUOTE(fariz @ Jun 15 2008, 12:16 AM) if you have gigabyte of memory, that wouldn't be a problem.. the problem is, i have megabyte of memory only have 512MB to spare, if my mainboard has more slots, i could beef it up to 708MB, but sadly, the mainboard only has 3 memory slots on the bright side, i am still using XP (not that i could use Vista anyway) so it would not lag that badly

Getting Started

|
There's one thing i dont like though. in firefox 2 when i close a tab, my new active window will be the window that i surfed before the closed tab. Now, the tab before the closed tab becomes the active window. That's kinda annoying for me.
