have u tried with another maxis sim? coz afaik, even if iphone not yet jailbreak, u still can do/ receive call.

jailbreaking were access to enable u to install 3rd party applications into iphone.. if im were not mistaken

did you try to uninstall that particular 3rd part s/w? maybe that was the root that caused you the problem.

hi everyone, i am chicken's mei mei ler...the iphone still same shit le!! the sw tat i install is call "BootNeuter", dunno what chi sin sw is this, after install it make the phone lock untill today!! the hp shop ppl tried to reformat everything..but when come to restore bck, the phone hang and everything get disconnect, now the phone only can use for snap pic and listen to song!! when i click to setting, there is no bluetooth, modem, wifi...everything are blank!!! How ar....chicken and me almost chi sin liao....we have no idea what is the actually caused! Do we need to unlock the "BootNeuter" first or how ar...I soo scare later d more i try...lagi teruk it bcome...

Aiyakkk chicken .. getting deeper and deeper in chicken s**t ka? This one really easy la. The baseband already gone thats why no signal nothing. Easiest way ... use iLiberty and put the phone to DFU mode (later ask to press this press that lagi longkang). Restore back to 1.1.4. That should put the baseband back in its place. If u really feeling adventurous, then why not try winpwn .. the ultimate tool. Sumore u can change the boot/restore logo to anything that u like.

Need any guide just PM me. I'll help with what i can.

Mmmm ... people here use the term 'bricked' too loosely. It not that easy to brick a phone.

How u can brick the phone?
1. Use the testpoint method and screw up badly coz u just blank out the bootloader.
2. U fried your logicboard by using other charger thats not meant for iphone.

Err ... i think thats it. Anyone wants to add sumore?

Chicken case is just a matter of no baseband. He kacau the bootneuter while its flashing the baseband.

Mmm ... can meet-up but weekends only. Weekdays pretty pack la my schedule. Or u can meet me at digital mall or somewhere and leave the phone with me. Later i'll kawtim everything and give back to you. After this if got TT then u can blanja me minum.

Yeah ... screwed up beyond repair.

as i know chicken use Dev Boot Neuter on his iphone. last time my friend also use this software and it blankout the bootloader when he flash the bootloader from 3.9 to 4.6...

last last end up...he got a bricked iphone....wifi music still can use...but cant make call forever, just like ipod touch only zzzz

another conclusion...there's not 100% successful when we use that BootNeuter...mana tau Chicken suey suey
