QUOTE(sAm fIsher @ Jun 10 2008, 04:26 PM) just now got a call from the bank regarding my loan. does tat mean i'll be getting my blm soon o i still need to wait? been 4 mths n my neck has gotten long enough waiting for it. i'm not sure you will get your car soon..before this, bank also call me (i guess about 2 weeks after i booked my car) to sign agreement etc..then i guess i'll be getting my car soon but then, i'll have to wait 3 months to get my car..as my SA once said the procedure is normal.. to check your details and to avoid hassle, mean when your car arrive, you dont need to go to bank to sign the agreement and other bank procedure as you already did before.. |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jun 12 2008, 10:50 AM) zenox0123 i also think to change to K&N open pod filter but it still not available in the market for BLM car..for 1st 1K service its not advisable to change to fully synthetic oil rite?so those semi syn & mineral oil should be ok..i'm planning to use fully synthetic on my 10K service..so service every 10K interval.. mine tinted with 'i duno wat brand'..shud be sun cool..but the tint damn dark..silver black(coz my car is silver),65%, only 4 door..rm65 lor..if whole car 65*3..around that price la.. er..where's da TS? kyrix think meantime is the k&n open pod filter and fushion plugs..other than that is the some indirect mod such as taking out the spare tyre and caplang stuff from the car to reduce weight..changing engine oil may reduce it too but after the 1k service..break-in engine help lil kua.. |

Like what others had mentioned their problems before. Maybe your IAFM not working. Thus resulting like this. BTW, FC also depends on ur driving skill, how heavy is ur foot(i mean do u rev/pijak the pedal 99), road condition and etc. Assume urs is Auto and the road condition is so bad and always traffic jam, but still full tank can't last to 300KM is unacceptable. Im not an expert, but based on my reading in this tread since V1, i guess ur IAFM got problem? Correct me if Im wrong.
zenox0123 noob question, how do we know IAFM got problem?can SC solve the problem during service?can we ask the SC person to check our IAFM during service?thanks in advance Fuel tank is not Square due to design factor. So you can't measure like that. Maybe from 6th bar dropped to 5th bar you only drove around 80km but then from 5th bar dropped to 4th bar you already drove 120km. So can't really calculate based on 1 bar. More accurate if count when pump full tank(or same amount) and test on the same journey(road) until empty tank. Again, Im might wrong. Correct me if Im wrong.
Yes, i agree with zenox0123 on this matter..we cannot based our FC on the fuel bar..it's not so accurate after all..last time I drove on highway, my 1st bar drop after 110km but the 2nd bar drop after 80km.. |

QUOTE(zenox0123 @ Jun 12 2008, 03:24 PM) Not noob question la. IAFM can solved by SC during services from what I read here. Also can ask SC person to check, Impossible cannot ask them check ma. And how do we know IAFM for problem, If I not mistaken a, engine there got "klukklukkluk" sound. Sorry if im wrong. but some forumer post the sign of AIFM not working and one of it is FC very high. u mean "klukluk" sound can be heard during idling?anyway thanks zenox0123..i'll ask the SC to check my IAFM on my next service |
