Try this... this is how I did...
Place some old newspaper in the tray of the cage; after a day of pee... move the paper (paper only) to the toilet...and bring him/ her to the toilet...tell them they have to pee here... and after that, Momo only pee & poo in the guests toilet (unless someone inside then she will go back to her cage (you have to keep the cage door and toilet door open...if not they will do it else where....) haha...
*I bought those liquid but doesn't work to Momo... ;p
and now I am training BoyBoy to Pee & poo in the toilet too ....

housebreaking product usually don't work as i heard.

Last time i used to let my boy pee/poo on newspaper and cage, and i switch to toilet after that. my boy get it immediately.
for my case, i first make my boy understand what is "shh shh", then morning once i wake up i close him in toilet and ask him to "shh shh", after 1-2min open toilet door he will done his business already. of cos need to praise him so that he knows he did something right. As my boy understand what is shh shh, i can always change his "toilet" especially when i balik kampung, he knows where i ask him to do his business.

blush.gif He still Pee here and there...marking his territory; but Poo only in his previous cage (I set it up and place it in the guest toilet)... only except one time I think he himself accidentally closed the cage door...then he poo outside of the cage...but still in the toilet la... smile.gif

Will need time to train him Pee in the right place sweat.gif but seems he is "marking" lesser spots now... except few favorite spots... rclxub.gif

Hmmm.. How bout tis.. Now my dog is get used of pee on the wee wee pad in my small room in KL (its a good sign , finally!)
But what Im afraid is, im going back to my hometown this week. I wanna train him to pee in the toilet like how you taught. Just that in my hometown, every morning I bring him to pee in the toilet, n during afternoon I free him out from the playpen, he will pee in the living room n sometimes my bro's room too ! cry.gif

My dad said because d space is bigger compare to my room in KL. So its hard for him to pee at the right spot like toilet/wee wee pad. I did put wee wee pad in 3 parts of my living room(meaning 3 pads in living room rclxms.gif ) But he never pee on it.. Sigh... thats d reason I alwiz cage him once back to JB to save cleaning job.. doh.gif

But then, dog isnt that stupid ma, just the owner never teach them well =X like me sad.gif Is there any solutions apart from smack him ???

P/s: I hv seek for advise on this problems for many times .. blush.gif

Added on September 25, 2008, 5:38 pmI guess mostly those dog above 1 yr, able to hold their bladder well compare to those puppies? that is my pup alwiz pee in the living room before lookin for its wee wee paD??

yup. dog who age above 1 year old can hold their bladder better. but for ur case, u been placing wee wee pad at many place still fail, think u need to educate him already. usually dog which train to pee at pad very easy one, as long as there is pad, bring them to travel shouldnt b big problem also. they will just find their pad.

let him understand ur command, like when they pee oredi. u said " oh shh shh d ah...good boy" after some time they kno pee means "shh shh" so when u balik kampung, bring him to pad, point to the pad n tell him " shh shh here!" this is how i trian my boy n works very well tongue.gif u may try it out lah.
