As the topic suggest. What means with Active Data and Passive Data in infotech ? And what is data filtering proccess and how it's proceed?

i guess active data is one that do stuff while passive sits around not changing but it doesn't get fat.

data filtering is act of retrieving specific data you first specify...it proceed when you press the "ok" button.

Data is data. There's only Useful data, and Ussless data.

Some Ussless data can be Active, for instance, *some* Kopitiam data. its Ussless, but Active.

Pinned threads are Passive data, seldom ppl change, but its Useful data.

So depends on how you classify your data. Active and Passive may not help you turn your Data to Information
