I realised i lost my key after yum cha with my friend, lucky my car is in my sight area, i doubt someone has stolen it or i just lost it somewhere...

My key has my number plate on it because stupid SC stick on it when i service my car, my fault forget to tear it away....

Anyway,

I need help from experts by answering my question:

1. Can i erase the data of the lost key in my ECU to prevent the key get to start my car?
2. Should i change the whole alarm system just to prevent the key able to open my door? Any other alternatives? Cheaper one?
3. How much is a immobiliser key?
4. Do i need to change the whole immobiliser system?

if u immobiliser have "learning" function on it, then only u can "delete" the lost "immobiliser card?/key?"

dun have spare key to open the car and disable the immobilizer??

i think u need to change the whole car key system... that almost cost u RM1k...

for myvi, car key with immobilizer feature will work together with ECU... even duplicate key cant start the engine also...
if proton can update the ECU to match with ur new car key will be the best...
otherwise u have to buy new ECU instead together with new car key system...

so how's TS's car now??

as far as i know, they only can so call update your ECU at factory.

not working!!!

even can open the car door by remote control thru handphone...
but without car key how to drive the car...

that time is the newly launched model whereby u cannot see on the road
so everybody keep looking at me and i now still remember that feeling
but now persona is very common oledi
