Those offline time and online time. What is it? And I saw the time counting there.

offline time is the one u need to beat in order to get carbon cars.. online time is from ur friends.. whoever the fastest will rule that particular road..

oh 1 more.. you can press Keypad 8 to switch modes between road rules and showtime or off(green road sign)

It seems my controller is not recognized by the game. I can only see the keyboard under controller options.
I'm using a Ps2 controller connected via a USB adapter.. What are you guys using ?

I was playing bikes online and it was impossible to handle. I kept crashing and ended up getting lost.

i saw u also have problem playing GTA 4 in gta 4 thread. perhaps it's not the game fault as u already facing it with 2 games.

I'm a bit confused about the Freeburn challenge thingy....



Is there a map I'm supposed to follow because when I'm doing them I can't see anyone. The voice says 'Freeburn Challenge started'
but it doesn't say what the challenge is about

And what does the orange 'tick' mean ? How come my name doesn't have it

there is a ticker running at the bottom of the screen telling you what to do. Don't you listen to DJ Atomica?

hey guys... anyone can help me to get started on the multiplayer mode? I have only tried the Freeburn mode (activated by tapping "right" on my D-pad couple times). And all I have achieved is got taken down by numerous SUV...

once u create the game and already select the race event... use ur numpad... press 6 to start the event....

A little guide from me.


The ticker at the lower part is the challenge that you have to complete. The top right is the current status of the challenge. Sometimes certain challenges need certain places to do it, so look for a red dot in you minimap.


Protip : Feel free to press M to launch the map if you're unsure how to go the red dot location. Don't just blindly head for the red dot, because you'll always end up somewhere up in the mountain later.

anyone can give me tips how to not get lost when racing?? hehehe...

look, use and understand the map

Keep crashing? Use a tougher cars. Car hard to control? Use a slower vehicle when u want to race, like the van etc etc. XD

at the top of the screen is teh current road indicator. when you need to turn to a junction, both your signal lights and the road sign will flash indicating where you should go

How about those road rules? I saw the road closing in but don't know what to do about it.

i dun think u need any road rules here... try running the opposite road for a few thousand yards... XD
and where the heck is the bloody 15 last shortcuts?!?!?!?!
