i feel it's more creepy than dead space because the alma wade appears sometimes all out of sudden. I feel the scary part it's in the toilet plus the sound effect of people whispering...

urmm.. I don't think the game is scary...

or do I have to play the first F.E.A.R just to get the "feel" of this Alma-girl..?

There are some truly genuine scary moments in FEAR 2. But apparently, I laugh at Alma sometimes, she is like "trying to be scary"... I think her adult ghostly form can't fit into the small red dress she wears as a kid, that's why the adult version of Alma wears no clothes! biggrin.gif

... and I love the whole "power control" (e.g the bad military guys vs. the supernatural phenomenan vs. you).

I must say, I heard the ending is flat... but nevermine that. It really is a great shooter, albeit not the best or close to epic. Its still awesome ! rclxms.gif

seriously dude?

and that ghost wears no clothes when she grew up? blink.gif man, that's scary alright.. sweat.gif

i find that nothing beats Fatal Frame, although I've played it on the Playstation 2 rather than any other console..

Very disappointing... Gameplay is around 10-12 hours at hard mode, with all SP achievements unlocked... The game is not really scary too, I've never even budged once thruout the game, at least i did jump once or twice in FEAR1... I tried to go on MP, but left the lobby after waiting for 10min, because it simply cant filled up sleep.gif

FPS part, it's so so, i wish the more advanced weapons are available earlier (and more ammo), i played the game like 80% assault rifle, 10% sniper, 10% others. Just give me the bigger guns, and also give the bad guys the bigger guns, then it won't be easy! And also, the enemies are like 95% grunts, where are all the heavy armored with big guns, you rarely see them!

i still think FEAR 2 is scarier than FEAR 1, i didnt find FEAR 1 scary at all, i finished it like in 3 days and didnt move at all.

When it appears to be scary, it's really obvious. I still think dead space is scarier.

In FEAR2 it's all visual effect scares, no impact, well, except if you got jumped and dropped your controller and it broke.

In Dead Space, there are quite a numbers of surprise attacks that will actually cause game over if you don't respond properly. So it's more thrilled in a way.
