QUOTE(Iceman74 @ Jun 2 2015, 03:49 PM) 2nd hand house. Don't like the way previous owner done the wiring, just sambung here & there even aircond just sambung normal wall plug. Thanks for the tip. Any idea how much per row roughly? 3 core 40/0.016 100% copper RM40++ per roll 4 core 40/0.16 100% copper RM200++ per roll

QUOTE(giggs_509 @ Apr 26 2016, 01:14 AM) My house currently 1 phase, but wiremen said its 3 phase ready since after looking at my meter box only use fuse at blue, while red and yellow no fuse. He said if want to upgrade to 3 phase just need to pull cable from meter box to the DB and change new DB. Is this correct? Costs around 5k. The purpose i want to upgrade to 3 phase because want to add more air cond. currently got 3 aircond (2.0 at living, 1.5 at master bedroom and 1.0hp at guest room). Is it possible to have plug point at 1st floor living, ground living and guest room on same phase? Need to use homeplug for unifi 3 phase rule of thumb: all three phase's load need to be balanced, so that the efficiency is at the max. Also, please define new "DB", as far as i can imagine, you need a 3/4 pole MCCB, then re run the wiring

QUOTE(sonerin @ Apr 26 2016, 09:58 AM) You need to do new wiring for your house Since you have three phase, aka warranty red/yellow/blue The wiring will need to re-route. Most people do upper bank one phase, middle bank one phase, lower bank one phase. Just to make sure they roughly equate into similar load, aka all three phase are 80/80/80 amps
