Well the last 3 movies were ridiculous as hell too but that didn't stop them raking in the money. Surprisingly those movies also got at least 70% rating (ok F6 got 69% but that's close). I did enjoy the last few ones and am totally checking this out. I'm betting this to be another hit but not as big as F7. That one will most likely be the highest grossing one in the franchise.

They're not gonna have Paul Walker again. It would be dumb and disrespectful to still use a dead man a second time. Especially as a helpless character.
It is said that Charlize Theron is an old friend and knows something about Dom's past and will expose it if he doesn't help him or something.
Oh and TGV already started selling tickets yo.

First lets talk about the new 4D hall at MBO. Once you've tried it you'll never go to D-Box again. D-Box is considered kids stuff compared to 4D. Besides the usual seat rumbling you get to smell the engine (the smell kinda feels like its getting thrown right at your face and some people didn't like the smell), see a bit of smoke and sprinkled by a bit of water, blinking flashes when gun shots are fired, and feel a little wind near your ear as if bullets missed them by inches. for some reason your legs will also get tickled. Definitely something you should try at least once... and never again, just like D-Box. It was alright but I still find moving seats too distracting. So yeah go give it a shot. The 3D was crap as usual because you hardly notice anything.
Now for the movie, I personally think its one of the better ones. If you enjoyed the last few ones with all the crazy action then you'll love this because you're getting the same thing. I thought the climax was amazing and those who are familiar with the series are in for a surprise. It also had a really touching ending which I thought was well done.
What the hell I'll give this a 5/5 for still having enough gas to be so entertaining.

QUOTE(Diabolical22 @ Apr 13 2017, 12:01 AM) So the MX4D also screening in 3D as well? Was planing to go MX4D but too bad screening in 3D, not comfortable wearing 3D glases thru my spectacle Yeah its screening in 3D and it makes the screen a little darker because of the glasses. I'm also wearing spectacles and it wasn't too bad. The 3D glasses look like normal spectacles (unlike those from IMAX which are huge) and really light and you don't feel much weight.

You know what? Watched it in MBO 4D first then in TGV IMAX 3D and I actually miss the rumbling seats and smell of burning tire from the 4D hall. When I was watching it in 4D I felt that it was all too distracting but when I finally watch it in a normal hall, I miss it. Something I noticed after watching the second time: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Dom already knew what he was dealing with when he met Cipher for the first time. Right before Hobbs called him for their first job, Dom was seen inserting the tracker into his necklace.
Plot hole: How was Dom able to contact the mother and plan out that whole five minutes thing at a spot without any cameras without Cipher noticing? Since she can track anything. I'm just asking too much. This post has been edited by masterelr: Apr 15 2017, 12:45 AM

Reviews are mixed but I think this will turn out to be the second highest grossing one. Fast7 will forever be the highest because of the Paul Walker hype, good soundtrack, and was also a lot better than the last one. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Now that Dom also has a son, once the main characters retire the story will probably be fast forwarded 20 years later to focus on the kids and then there'll be another 10 more movies about them...

QUOTE(xphossis @ Apr 18 2017, 01:41 PM) How the hell did Dom just forgive Shaw for killing Han and threatening to kill his family in FF7 just like that? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Well at the end the Shaws actually saved Dom's baby and his entire family so that's a pretty big deal I guess. Remember that Dom is the one who requested for Shaw's help so he should actually be thankful. Don't think he actually forgave Shaw but its more like they're even now. You know.. last time you killed my friend but this time you saved my entire family so we're good until you kill another one.
Pretty sure Helen Mirren will be joining the crew on their next mission. She'll fit right in with the action. Just check out RED. And Statham has also kinda in a way confirmed that there will be a papa Shaw. So we're gonna have a British and American family joining forces here.
