So did Han die in the explosion at the end?
*
No one really knows. We never saw his burnt body or anything. Everyone thought Letty died in the crash but she actually survived. So yeah as long as we don't actually see them die like Vince, there's a chance he might be alive.

I'm surprised no one announced the news about Tony Jaa joining Fast and Furious 7.

Tony Jaa also villian?

His role hasn't been decided yet. But it would be cool if he gets to take on Jason Statham. That would be one hell of a fight.

Lucas Black is now back in the franchise yo. Was never a big fan of Tokyo Drift but this is still cool.

Oh and no one mentioned that Kurt Russel is also in.

I don't know man... most people watch FF for the over the top action and hardly because of the individual actors. I think it still have enough star power to carry on. Though it might be a bit rough at first. Once this all sinks in it will probably be all back to normal.

Hours is probably his last completed movie. Kinda sad that everyone only got to know how great of a guy he is with all the charity work he has been doing after the dies. But then again it isn't such a big surprise. Only after you die do people start to talk about the good deeds you've done (that is if you've done any).

At first I was only sad because FF won't be the same without him. After reading more I think we've lost a great person who uses his celebrity status to help others.

Am I the only one not into f7 because of Wan?
*
How can you not be into it when there's nothing to see yet? At the moment there's no way to tell how FF7 will turn out.
Might seem weird to rope in a horror director but since he hasn't proven anything yet there's nothing to get into or not get into. At least he has a few successful movies under his belt and not like some director who has a track record of crappy movies.

Kinda sad because FF7 was supposed to be the last one that brings the whole franchise full circle. Though there were still talks about a 8th and 9th movie. I guess we'll never find out how FF7 is originally supposed to be.

Anyone watch this at tgv imax 3d ? I need to know whether there is chinese subtitle.  Plan to bring parent to watch. My dad kinda fnf fans lol

Just came back and yeah there's subtitles. Looks good in IMAX as usual but sadly the 3D is also a waste of money as usual.

how is IMAX worth paying rm30?
*
It's worth paying for the big screen. The action scenes involving the bus and the car flying into the next building is amazing. I've watched different movies in IMAX a number of times and its always worth it. But sadly the 3D is non existent and a waste of money. It's only being played in IMAX 3D here so you have to pay extra for the crappy 3D.
The only part where I saw 3D effects is when uh...the Jurassic World trailer was played before the movie. And it looked good.

As for the movie, I think its a really good ending that brings the entire franchise full circle. I kinda hope that it ends here since it just won't be the same without Brian since its always Brian and Dom who make the franchise what it is today. But there has been news that the next one will take place in New York and a trilogy or something so I don't know.
I thought the main character from Tokyo Drift would be part of the team but he only appeared for a few minutes. And damn Ronda Rousey is hot in here.

Oh and I'm not sure if I'm the only one who notices but during the funeral, Dom was wearing a black and white suit, but when he got in the car, he's already wearing completely different clothes.

Furious7 is already the biggest opening of all time in Malaysia, beating Transformers 4 and is also making big bucks all over the world.

http://www.cinema.com.my/articles/news_det...27-mil-in-M-sia

It's already the highest grossing movie of the year and I think the only other movies that can beat it is The Avengers or Star Wars.

It's amazing how James Wan handled his first big movie after Walker's death. Wish we can say that we can be proud because its a Malaysian director but I don't believe Malaysia was ever involved in making him the director he is today and he probably doesn't consider himself much of a Malaysian anyway since he spent most of his life overseas where he got his skills.

what if just watch without putting on the specs since no 3d effect?

usually i just want to go to IMAX for the big screen and sound system, but since now most IMAX movies are in 3d and 3d effect is not there, I'm thinking of doing that  laugh.gif

You need to put on the specs because if you don't, the screen will look blurry.
Ya I would still recommend you go watch it in IMAX even if there's no 3D effects. The action scenes look amazing on the big screen and you won't be dissapointed.

GSC Maxx is actually just a normal screen that's blown up to twice its size. It still can't beat IMAX in terms of video and audio quality. It's still a good experience to try it at least once to see what its like to watch on a huge screen with 500+ people.

more than 1 billion worldwide in 17 days (beating previous records by the Avengers), congratulation Fast and Furious 7
*
Avengers is also sharing the same record with the last Harry Potter and Avatar which is 19 days. But 17 days is surreal and its already the 20th highest grossing movie of all time. There's a chance it might even crack the top 5 at the end of its run because of the good reviews and repeated viewing.
Will be interesting to see how the next Avengers will do next week.

Avengers 2 is unlikely to beat the 17 day record because it won't be opening to as many screens as Furious7 because both of them will be sharing screens. Furious7 was able to break the record because it didn't have any competition within the 17 days. The huge opening in China also helped while Avengers will only be released in China more than 17 days after it's first release.

I'm surprised no one mentioned that Furious8 is now confirmed to release in 2017 and Vin says its going to be the best movie you've ever seen.
