I don't see a need for more than 1 emergency back up card. Also, applying for an additional CC would mean U have to pay annual fees for it; so Y bother?

Not true - different cards (be it co-brand or not) have different benefits/promotions tied to them. U can go through those promotions and see which one ur going to be utilising the most. As to wait time, I've never waited more than 3 weeks before I received the physical card through courier.

I don't think banks accept credit card payments for bank draft; not too sure though but let us know.

Well, CC is just a form of payment so it is possible for the banks to accept CC. I'm v sure though the Post Office wouldn't
