i think the new one is just so-so

Watched it on Sunday. This one is superior to the first Cap America in every possible way.

In 2011, it was Thor > Captain America.

For both the sequels, I would have say The Winter Soldier > Thor The Dark World.

The story roots itself deep into S.H.I.E.L.D. and its very existence. Interesting enough to make you want to know more.

...and sweet, we get a 'peek' at The Twins.

The only downside to Captain America: The First Avenger to me was his Shield was under utilize. Other than that, I enjoyed the settings and overall film especially during the army training sessions.

Marvel did well to build up for their Avengers sequel with CA:TWS

even Anthony Mackie himself said that this movie = Avengers 1.5

love it, definitely better than most sophomore superhero movie i.e. iron man 2, thor 2,...

yup, i like the first one as well, it's so much better than Thor

It's a nice movie. I can go watch again. Lol.

I think this is the least funny Phase 2 movies so far.
And the scene with Peggy is sad as hell, came out of nowhere too.

the reason for Hawkeye's exclusion from this movie is probably to give more room for Cap/Black Widow relationship. If got Hawkeye he will sure cockblock everything.

Quite nice for cap'n film. Hes more badass in this one compared to his previous appearances. Tho im curious what did they do to winter soldier to make him as strong as cap'n other than his arm.

Where got. Black widow already hinted to Capt to go after the 'next door neighbour girl turned shield operative'. I believe the girl will appear more after this and develop relationship with Capt

still doesn't explain where he went.
a simple line in the movie just explaining where he went should suffice.
Will feel like a cop out, yes, but at least it's something.

just realised the senator in this movie is from Iron Man 2-the same guy who wanted the Iron Man armour to be given to the US government.
this movie makes me want to replay all the previous movies

he had some form of enhancement as well as the mechanical arm.
not sure if he got the super soldier serum as well...i thought i read somewhere confirming he was given it, which was how he got to be on the same level with cap.

Not necessarily a romantic relationship between Capt and BW, but whatever kind of relationship that we saw in the movie between those two(close friends, wingwoman etc), I don't think it will be possible to pull off if Hawkeye is there.

also I think Hawkeye not being there is to give more room for Falcon too.

Yeah you're right should have at least hinted about Hawkeye, they hinted Ironman/Strak like what, 3 times wtf

Maybe in Avengers 2 there will be this scene where the Avengers have an argument why didn't they got help from each other during the events leading up to Avengers 2, and one by one will explain that "I was too busy stopping Hydra from killing everyone", "too busy saving the president/ extremist", "busy with Dark Elves" etc

Yeah no wonder that senator seemed so fishy in IM2
