It's a Marvel movie issue (Happened since the Avengers. I watched it 5 times in with 2 different operators, so I can vouch for this. ).

If you want a brighter picture, consider going for Cathay Cinexplex's 4K screen or Imax (even though I took off my 3D glass at less important scenes)

IMAX only got 3D ah? any cinema here show HIGH DEF movies?

no IMAX HD..or Digital here in Malaysia??

Yes if it's Capt' round shield in the front, they do have it in the Pyramid outlet. As previous posts mentioned before, they aren't cheap.

Er...I watched GSC's and their movies are set for 2D now without stating it on the movie showtimes.
And it's not bad.

Haha i can confirmed this one, BUT, it depends on the hall/cinema u watch.

I have watched this movie twice, first at GSC setia city mall hall 1, the screen is awsome, i can see everything clearly on the night scene. Every details, frame rate also smooth not dizzy.

Then i rewatch again this time on hall 9, that hall so sucks the screen is so dim cant even see shit, and it makes me dizzy, soooo different experience from the first time i watch at hall 1, not to mention the audio experience also, so yeah i can confirmed its being very dim but depends on which cinema ure in.

Luckily i have watched it at hall 1 which has good screen else ill also be like u. Haha.

a WW2 nick fury? original member of captain's team? in the movie? nah...
since the movie already established that cap doesn't know Nick vice versa before he's turned into a Popsicle, so I think they gonna give him an original story on his background

notice Nick's patched eye in the movie, it has weird veins all around it, so that has to be some sort of weird things that caused it.


anyhoo... back to cap, bone picking time
regarding his shield, the shield are supposed made of Vibranium aloi, which can absorb any kinetic impact, ie: Cap vs Thor in Avengers, Thor smashed his hammer into Cap's shield only to produce a massive shockwave.
But in Cap2, a single punch on Cap's shield, and Cap flew away
or did he change to a non-vibranium aloi shield in this movie?

watched it yesterday. To be honest, my score for the movie is just 7/10. I like other Marvel franchise better.

Don't think that's how the shield works. If I remember the first movie correctly, Bucky flew out of the train despite blocking a blast with Cap's shield. In Avengers, maybe Cap's defensive stance on the ground helped.

This is pretty neat. We got the US version it seems. (At least the Imax one had Steve Jobs on it. I prefer seeing Sherlock. )
