The interesting thing here is, not all of the countries listed in the 10 have Apple stores/iTunes, and yet, the iPhone will be launched there. So, this pretty much debunks the idea that iTunes support is a prerequisite for the iPhone to be launched in a specific country.
Of course, this may mean that they're also launching the dedicated iTunes store together with the iPhone. Regardless, this may mean that there is hope after all for an official launch in Malaysia. Although, I'm not so sure it's great news for current iPhone users. I mean, it's really not as if everyone's gonna upgrade to the new 3G iPhone and even if they do, they might not want to be tied down to a contract.
The only good that will come out of an official launch in Malaysia is at least there would be hardware support. Of course, the US imported iPhones' warranties are not valid but having the option to pay for repairs is better than none at all!!
