forbidden, may i ask something? i been wondering

since fatalis armor is -25 dragon res i would like to know which boss/wyern inflect dragon dmg. mind to list which boss is safe to use -negatif dragon res?

and how the res work? i know you take lesser dmg with higher res, but how exactly it work?

i tried dmg calculator from reign of rathlos, it seems dragon ele> raw dmg when fighting against white fatalis. i thought raw always > ele?

thanks in advance XD

Well, the monsters that won't inflict Dragon damage are monsters that are not "Dragon" type of course lol biggrin.gif . Beast, Bird, Carapaceon and Piscine types won't inflict Dragon damage. Some Wyvern types like Rathalos, Rathian, Tigarex, Akantor does though. Elder Dragons...well..don't need me to say anything about them, it's obvious they will inflict Dragon damage loL rclxms.gif with the exception of Kirin and Yama. You can still fight them with - Dragon resistance really, just try your best not to get hit that often. rolleyes.gif

As in damage calculator and stuff ? Not sure about that, all I know is just take a +20 Fire resist armor and take a direct hit from a Rath's fireball and then compare it with an armor with 0 Fire resist. You'll basically get the picture. sweat.gif

It's because Fatalis has high Raw resistance, especially Crimson and White Fatalis when they're in armor mode. That's why it's recommended to use a weapon with high Dragon Element damage on them. smile.gif

Sorry, but I'll have to correct some of the statements you've made. Most "dragon" types (referring to the japanese version) does not have dragon elemental attacks nor do all their attacks have dragon elements. Since there isn't a proper monster attack calculation for 2G out on the net yet (gamefaqs sources are not to be trusted at all) so the next best thing to refer to is the MH2 monster attack calculations that was done a couple of years ago.

MH2 Monster Data

For example, monsters like Rioleia (Rathians) have absolutely no dragon elemental attacks while Rioleus (Rathalos) have only one attack that inflicts dragon elemental damage which the aerial dive attack which explains why it does insane amount of damage to late game hunters who are most likely wearing ancient dragon armors (they have horrible dragon defense). Oh by the way, all of Yamatsukami's attack are dragon elemental except for its fire breath attack.

As for Miraboreas or Fatalis as it is known in the english version, most of us know that Vulcan (Red) and Roots (White) can go into armored mode when inflicted with enough damage. Bringing weapons with high elemental damage really does not make much of a difference. Take head damage area for example.

Normal Mode:
Sharp Weapon Dmg Multiplier (Raw) : 50
Dragon Elemental weakness Multiplier : 80

Armored Mode:
Sharp Weapon Dmg Multiplier (Raw) : 10
Dragon Elemental weakness Mutiplier : 10

MHP2G Wiki

Also note that Non-Elemental weapons deal about 25% more damage than an elemental weapon with the same sharpness.

Oh, I didn't realize that Yama's attacks are dragon elemental.

Yeah, I fail to remember that Rathian doesn't inflict dragon elemental damage at all, crap doh.gif .

You can still bring a weapon with high Raw damage really, it's up to you. Like TenSou said, it doesn't really make much of a difference.

^Try this.

Yes, Teo's Jump attack does inflict dragon damage.

Is the dragon resistant skill from Rajang's armor useful ? Yes, it's pretty useful imo.

There are no best weapons. It all depends on the situation, preference and most importantly, the player's skills. If a person sucks in the game, he/she'll suck no matter what weapon is used.

Never thought of them to be hard really, just troublesome and infuriating every once in a while.

Sure, although the kai times are random so it's hard to find everyone. If you wanna kai you can always set a time and date here so people who are available can join you.

No it's not impossible, all versions of MHP2G can link. You cannot link MHF2 to MHP2G though.

If you've upgraded your bug thicket in your pokke farm to level 5, you can get there. Or catch G-Rank Forest and Hills map areas 1, 9 and 12.
