The latest one is Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, it's an expansion to Monster Hunter Portable 2nd/Freedom 2 and it's only in Japanese. Those of us who are done with Portable 2nd/Freedom 2 are playing this now.

Start cooking some meat, eating meat will recover your stamina. You'll need a BBQ split to cook meat or you can just ask your kitchen Felynes to cook for you.

Clustering Fatalis is only really effective if there's like 2-3 hunters in the group clustering too. Not really effective if you're clustering alone.

Orange Espinas, subspecies of Espinas.

All I can say is that this version of Espinas is one bad ass mofo, 00:16 is just sick.

If anyone is wondering why it's not attacking the hunters in some part and just mindlessly walking around like those hunters doesn't even exist and letting them get a lot of free hits, it is because Espinas does not attack unless it is in rage mode but it's skin will be very hard to pierce through.

Same here, most likely gotta wait for it in MH3, either that or Capcom finally decided to release MHFO outside of Japan lol.

I dearly hope so, I'm slowly running out of things to do and buy in 2nd G and I still have 5 more medals to get. After that I think I can really retire. =\

And MH3 is maybe the only reason I will get a Wii but we'll see, it's still a long way to go.

Third skill is Capture.

It increases the chance to get more rewards via capturing monsters.

No, Golden Moon Z is still the best armor set to get more rewards. Gem it for Luck Booster and Capture Celebrity.

Luck Booster = Increased the chances to get more reward.
Capture Celebrity = Increased the chances to get more rewards via capturing.

If you got both skills activated at the same time then you'll be one lucky ***.

Los soul Z has both those skills, Bladermaster and Gunner.

Every weapon is useful in it's own rights. All comes down to how the user utilize it.

Devil Slicer still seems a pretty good versatile weapon even in 2nd G, and the final upgrade is pretty cool too with the Tigarex scale design. Here's a pic of it if you're interested

Petrify can be a very good status ailment if you know what I mean lol.

P.S. I want that bird wyvern or whatever in MH3 or future Monster Hunter installment. We need more bird type wyverns, the Kut-ku (KFC fried chicken) & Gypceros (Thanks giving Turkey) are going extinct and the Hypnoc is not too far away from them lol.
