Do anyone remember X-play, why the heck astro not showing it anymore. The show was cool and funny.....well, atleast we got GAME showing on channel 813 every Thursday....boy, do I miss X-play

xplay was nice

Who cares whether he is bias or not, i think most of us watch it for the lulz (Adam Sesslers's humour).
It was great until G4....Anyway G4 doesn't suck totally, not sure anyone remember this.

Sessler hates Japanese RPGs. Fact.

I though X-play had run off its air time already due to techtv changing to g4tv and they had replaced it with a few other shows.

And they both ROX!

XPLAY is just fun ...nowadays..I even wonder why do they air GAMEMAX..the short review show with Oz accent...and the game is totally old T_T

Adam talks like there's no good game in this world .. and he hate Japanese RPG so much that i've literally inspired by him to hate it too. there's sarcasm every minutes in x-play

but heard last time that there will be changes in x-play (dunno how many years back )

Last time I wrote to astro a few emails demanding X-play back....they only really replied back(there is an automotic reply) after a dozen of emails or so and the next thing I know X-play and some other great shows are back.....

No use.. The last time we want animax after animes was scrapped from AXN, we got them like what? 3-5 yrs later? (Not counting the Animax they show at @15)

And make sure they at least get it up to date. As most of us here have our own gaming news sites, listening/watching old stuff is kinda boring at times

Sessler really hates the FF series..haha...

I still remember the time when G4 haven't bought the program. It was named Extended Play the host was a 3D motion guy. Then soon after that Adam Sessler became the single host of it. There were other programs as well that i loved to watch everyday like the Call 4 Help.

i can't stand irate gamer, he's very annoying and most of his lines are taken from james the angry nintendo nerd.

my main point it i like Extended Play because less crappy review...In X-Play, i can hear sessler shouting & whining nearly every episode ..but in extended play, he review it normally & with insider jokes


yeah i know Morgan Webb is hot, but X-Play has too much "Morgan beat the hell up Sessler's Ass"...do they need to exaggerate it too much?

yah, i remember extended play...but I like X-Play better because it is more packed....and the humilation of the interns and adam, who could forget about that...

Memorial scenes I watched at Xplay.

-During Bujingai(PS2) game, they make a poll Bujingai or Bujingirl since the face of the main chrcter lokks like a girl.Then Morgan explained that it was taken from a face of a Japanese singer,Gackt.

-During Gundam Seed game review, there is a scene which suddenly a mind chart popped out showing a chronology of Gundam starting from dinasour age, human civilization and gundam era.At the human civilization part, they only show Adam Sessler's face that made me lough hysterically.

-They did a segment showing they reseearch on human developement affected by the JRPG game.At some part, they showed Adam is going to enter a disco club but the bouncer not giving him permission to enter it.Suddenly the screne fuzzed and entering something like FF7 turnbase battle between him and the bouncer.Adam cast summon calling Morgan Webb to assist him but the bouncer managed to charm spell Webb and defected Adam.Adam got defeated by 1 hit punch by the bouncer.

-There is also a scene during a review of Yu Gi Oh Battle game on Gamecube.They did show a pic of a group of an old grandma playing poker then suddenly they change one of the gramma's face into Yugi.

-Not to mentioned the ugly and fat as* guy cosplaying Yuna from FF10 make an appearence twice(during FF special edition segment and during TGS Game award review).Oh and he did spanked Adam's butt since Adam lost bet to Morgan during FF special edition segment.

xplay do give the best review with lots of humor in it...
sadly they keep changing channel..i remember it was once before on techTV

I like Xplay for their reviews added with humour but I like Extended Play better for having more game reviews than skits. But if u wanna get the segments of the show including those funny bits then just subscribe to the Xplay podcast on G4tv website. I set my psp to d/l most of the xplay podcast vids automatically so that i can watch them later. Do try it out it's better than just watching the reviews from the website itself. i believe a few torrents websites are sharing those xplay episodes online as i have d/l a few of them once but not sure if they're still available or not.

It's one of my favourite show back then.

Was a fan since Extended Play. I can still remember there's a rap advertisement on it.

When the show was gone, I wrote emails and even called Astro regarding it.

Kept me entertained back then.

I m not sure the espn or star sport channel still got tv game show if i m not wrong....

its just a tourney, hoping for something like a game review, or just xplay

ESPN has a game show called " GAME " as well. I reckon the show is based in Singapore by EA.
