My two lovely ladies. Love them soo much! Heheh...

Bought them at Pets Wonderland in Midvalley two days ago. But they got a lot of mites... Gonna have to take them to the vet today... Anyone had any experience with the vets in Sri Kembangan?

I shot the pictures using dslr. That's why it looks nice..
Yeah, kind of feel sorry for those left behind but I'm unable to buy all of them..

I bought mine at PW MV. Seriously got lots of mites...
But before that my friend also bought there but she said its got no mites.
Guess we really have to check first before leaving the store.

I have the same prob too.
Its like moca always take the pellet out of its bowl, and when she does that the food will obviously fall to the tray la.
I just changed the cage flooring with another type of mat, and the problem's solved.

Guys, those of you that toilet trained your GP's... what kind of litter training do you guys use? Do you use the Hi-corner litter pan or the Little John Hi-corner litter pan?

I bought my GP's at Pets Wonderland MV, and rite now I feel very kesian at them.
They got mites problem.. and they they're soo thin.. and their ear like been bitten before..
Very kesian lah...

But I seriuosly don't understand how much different are them.

I took them to two vet in Sri Kembangan last friday, but both weren't able to do anything.
They referred me to UVH in UPM.
I'm gonna go there as soon as I can, hopefully tomorrow.
Wish those two get well soon, ok guys?

p/s: I wonder if the other GPs in PW MV is suffering...

I went to St. Angel first, and eventho the vet showed me the lice she found on them under the microscope, she didn't know the correct dosage to be given to them.
After that I went to Baby Pets. After some while, Dr. Lim came out and told me that the dosage was 0.008 mil. I assume that this dosage is extremely small that he was afraid to administer them.

Yeah, we can check for them with our bare eyes.
Be wary of bald spots. Its an easy indication of mite/lice prob (sorry but I'm unsure of which one)

I think Universiti Veterinari Hospital of UPM can help.
The Vet at Ikano can too I heard.
And when I called City Pets of Sri Kembangan, they too said that can help with guinea pigs.
Its just that I don't have my own transportation to go anywhere far from cyberjaya.

Yeah, they're nice vet and nice people.
The St. Angel vet was a chinese lady, and she didn't charge me anything for the checkup.
So, I ended up buying a new cage and some pellet for my ladies at the St. Angel.
Felt like I should spend some money there because they treated my gp's very nicely..
They've got quite an assortment of cage there, and I think the price is quite cheap too.

Yeah, read abt it some time ago. They really do make gp like itik panggang. Cucuk on a long stick and bbq them over fire... But seriously, I can never imagine doing that to my gp's...

Well, both my ladies are warming up to me now. They are more manja rite now. Doesn't run away from me whenever I'm patting their heads now... And getting more vocal to.. and popcorning a lot more to.. Loving them more and more even tho everyday also have to clean their cage.

Ey people, at what age do you start to trim your gp's nails?
