Wah, sharil, that's an awesome cage. GPs do prefer wide cages but some like to hang out on higher ground. My cage has metal shelves, 1 GP likes to sit high above the rest.

Sharil, you gave me good idea to reuse back my old cage hahahah.....

So your GPs got climb up till the top floor? My friend will be selling those cube grids that we always see those people overseas use for Cavy cages. Not expensive too hahahah.... I'm thinking of using those to do floors and extensions... dunno lah, now all planning coz I got many DIY projects on my list.

About fresh food, do not give too much of certain veggies. You gotta monitor the calcium and phosphorus ratio as well. Also some veggies might cause gas too.

Never feed iceberg lettuce. Good choices include spinach, turnip greens, parsley, romaine lettuce, and dandelion greens but hard to fine dandelion here. So give some carrots, carrot tops, green and red bell peppers, apple, apricots, bananas, blueberries, cantaloupe, grapes, oranges, strawberries, and tomatoes.

Limit cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, collards, bok choy coz these veggies can cause gas in the digestive tract.

Celery is good but you have to chop them into small pieces coz the celery has got those strings that can cause problems.

Give more detail on your pre packed food brand.... coz brands like Delikate or Bengy.... it's not nutritious for guinea pigs at all....

Blood in the poop.... that is serious. Please bring to a vet for a check up. Your little GPs got nice markings and colours, it would be a waste to see them die. It would also be kinda irresponsible to not bring it to a vet when it is sick. A check up can be under Rm50 only. Saving a life, RM50 is not much.

Fresh hay. Get Oxbow hay or hay from Chinchillas, confirmed super fresh quality.

My GPs all prefer fresh hay and do not like cheap brands like Bengy.... sigh.... they eat expensive brands, plus love drinking vitamin C water heheheh.

I couldn't see the texel coz I think quality is not good that I cannot even see. LOL.

PS the staff cacat. Just now I ask guinea pig. He told me there only got normal and abby. What lah.

Last time, crested, they told me it is special GP with "telinga jatuh"... what the.... cacat.

Hagen gonna increase loh.... alot of pet food is gonna increase this year, so if you guys see anything cheap or is with a good price now, better stock. Like Prestige I stock up from Pet World event, Rm14.90.... now petshops selling Rm21+.... lucky me.

Great Eastern Mall's PW is having a Reno sale. Shelties going for Rm195 with 30% discount. Got 3 only, but very nice looking. Just big, not small vulnerable ones.
