QUOTE(Jamien @ Jun 19 2008, 12:01 AM) Wah..... Your setup looks so good. And so spacious. Very jealous. I wan cube also lar that toy was given together with some other stuffs by the previous owner of the gp i adopt..BTW, do your GPs actually use the push toy I see next to the bowl? they don't really play/push the toys.. but they response each time the bells rings.. they notice it as 'food time'... if not mistaken, the cubes are available at carrefour if you want to get those... the coroplast can be bought at stationary shop or Tesco.. p/s- last time the cubes aren't available in malaysia, but now there is... that's awesome if your gp is toilet trained..
gp runs a lot, they require large space... after here & there running, the towel or newspaper won't be the same way as the pic from the web.. nice pics are always taken after cage cleaning... so that's why you see it very neat and cool! btw, the answer should be yes.. you could use newspaper or towel or cloth.. |

QUOTE(liette` @ Jun 20 2008, 11:56 PM) Are Peruvians, Abbys, normal fur, sheltie different breeds or same breeds with different kind of fur? i read about this somewhere (which i'm too lazy to recall where and search for it again.. Peruvians, Abbys, normal fur, sheltie are breeds.. If it turn out to have different colours then it's a variation.. Same goes to human.. we got black, white, sawo matang and all sort of, same breed! mat salleh, watsup nigga, melayu, india, cina.. sorry if the info is wrong but i truly read about this before.. each type are different breeds... but they can mix.. |

QUOTE(liette` @ Jun 21 2008, 05:53 PM) I said different la..Read this: QUOTE Domesticated guinea pigs come in many breeds, which have been developed since their introduction to Europe and North America. These varieties vary in hair and color composition. The most common varieties found in pet stores are the English shorthair (also known as the American), which have a short, smooth coat, and the Abyssinian, whose coat is ruffled with cowlicks, or rosettes. Also popular among breeders are the Peruvian and the Sheltie (or Silkie), both straight longhair breeds, and the Texel, a curly longhair. Don't be too lazy to further research as the answer is waiting there.. in the net.. If you really want the answer, google it! More info available at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guinea_pigs p/s- i'm also a newbie.. still doing research on gp.. wait for others to answers...
