Hi All,
I am looking for the best interest rate home loan and recently got the following offers. Anyone knows other bank could beat this? Appreciate your valuable information and advise.
Loan Amount: RM285K Loan Tenure: 30
Alliance Bank Zero Entry Cost Yr 1-5 BLR-1.45% 6-30 BLR-1.75%
Non-Zero Entry Cost Yr 1-2 3.75% Yr 3-5 BLR-1.45% Yr 6-30 BLR-1.75%
Public Bank Zero Entry Cost Yr 1-3 5.35% Yr 4-30 BLR-1.62%
Non-Zero Entry Cost Yr 1-3 4.90% Yr 4-30 BLR-1.62%
Hong Leong Bank Zero Entry Cost Yr 1-3 BLR-1.55% Yr 4-30 BLR-1.75%
Non-Zero Entry Cost Yr1-30 BLR-1.85%

For RM 285K, should be able to get BLR - 1.8% ~ 1.9% p.a. from Public Bank. Ask your friendly Bank for it.

I would still suggest for people to take BLR based since you can always refinance after 5 years of lock in period.

Anyone checked out ING's Home Loan? A friend apparently suggested to look at that as they seemed to have pretty good deals available *shrugs*

If you are concern about BLR fluctuation, then fixed rate is the way to go.

I think mostly of the Insurans company offering fixed rate some like 5% or 5.5%....

PBB BLR-2.0% whole tenure Loan Amt: 200k Loan Tenure: 30 yrs
MBB BLR-2.1% whole tenure Loan Amt: 185k Loan Tenure: 30 yrs
Awaiting from OCBC 1-3yrs BLR-2.0% thereafter BLR-2.3%
Awaiting from ING as well 4.85% fixed rate
