i hear its quite good, if u can time it accurately so tat it hits right after a white swing.... slam refreshes ur swing timer...
to do tat u need very good latency....
To do that actually you need Quartz swing timer. Latency can be worked around if you have that although personally staring at a swing timer for 4 hours is not my idea of fun.to do tat u need very good latency....
On an equally geared warrior, I would expect a 33/28 BF/SLAM MS Warrior to be about 300-500dps below a fury warrior, especially at t6 level. The reason you bring an MS warrior is because more than 1 fury warrior is in most cases a waste of a raid spot. Blood Frenzy means an additional 4% physical dps which benefits your tanks, hunters, and other melee classes. When you have dps approaching and surpassing 2000dps, you really see the value of a MS warrior in your raid as the increase in raid dps is more than the reduction in the MS warrior's personal DPS. We're working on Brutallus atm and i can tell you that it takes a lot of hard work to get to the 2000+dps.
Expertise is the most pro stat because irrespective of how much hit you stack you will still lose DPS from dodges and if you have bad positioning, parries. Weapon Mastery is essential for any dps warrior due to the poor itemisation for expertise. However having said that on my human warrior i'm kinda capped on expertise due to the human sword expertise bonus and shard of contempt which results in a total of 6% dodge reduction. It's unbelievable good for DPS as all your rage effectively is converted into damage. The 2% dodge bonus from weapon mastery is a flat out 2% increase in dps and is unbelivably good value for talent point expenditure. You will never use overpower in pve - it's just not worth the rage loss from stance dancing. There is only one cookie cutter spec for DW fury and it's 17/44.
For most guilds, you would be damned lucky if you could get a raiding spot as a dps warrior and you really have to be able to demonstrate your worth by being as pew pew as the next rogue.
