Hey guys, I need some help here in selecting which Gen 2 I should get? Its either the IAFM model or the CPS model... the CPS model has all the accessories but it will cost around an additional RM4K right. So issit worth getting it or better to get the IAFM model? Need some opinions here please, thanks.

the cps model is more powerful,i think if youre planning to keep your car stock standard,just get the cps

CPS are combo with VIM while IAFM is a stand alone unit but has the same purpose as VIM, to provice better fuel mixing at lower rev, hence imrove torque.

Why lower spec no CPS? COST

IMO, the Hi-Line Gen.2 CPS is too pricey, and the difference is just 4k than Waja CPS.

Get CPS Gen2, in my opinion, it worth the 4k, u get better engine, nicer interior, If u get IAFM Gen2, the interior is more or less the same with old Gen2.

True, but waja is more luxury compare to gen 2. It is different class. You will notice the diff when you sit inside both. It is like civic and accord.

Depends on what is your need. If you want better FC, then IAFM. If you dont care abt FC, definitely CPS since better power and more accessories. I am assuming both are within your budget.

Why not Persona thou? Cheaper .

if you plan to get IAFM, i suggest you to consider persona. atleast u will get more headroom at the rear seat and boot space ofcourse.

I agree with most of the ppl here, for the best value sporty car to buy, the gen2 CPS is a no brainer. More value with better engine and better interior with just 3k extra compared to the IAFM one!

With a bulky body, that's make a waja look sporty.
Lowered the car, 17" rims and dark color. Enough, no need wajalution look.

Need to put some skirting to make it sportier.. Gen.2 CPS no need.

I saw once, a blue-black waja. Not exactly black. Just a simple skirting for front, side and rear, spoiler lids, lowered, big rims, a bit dark tinted. Damn i really admire his waja.

actually from the side, saga seem like a bigger car, higher roofline and higher ground clearance. thats why it look tall from the back.

do u feel the kick when CPS activated?

After driving for a month, here is what i feel about the car.

1. You will not feeling when the CPS kick in at 3800rpm. No jerk felt.

2. Have the same resonance (vibration) around 3000rpm region. Same like campro engine.

3. FC i would say similar to campro.

4. Love the leather seat and finishing. But found out that the seating position are higher than persona.

5. Compare persona and gen2 cps side by side you will notice the suspension for persona seems higher.

6. Headroom no need to compare. Persona much better.

7. The bodykit look nice but becareful because its quite low.

8. Adjustable meter lighting. Didn't bother. Always put the highest.

9. Autocruise. Can activate above 40kmph. Brake pedal to cancel off. Accelerate does not cancel.

Other than that i think it would be similar to other gen2. Sorry i cant compare between non cps engine because i have not driven one. (Driven waja before long time ago)

Can feel in 2nd gear if using MT.

Yeah.. not enough to felt the pull. If you notice carefully, there also a change in the exhaust tone.

ok... have already done my booking
hopefully there will be not much defects. but well its a proton

u won't feel so much jerk wan even vtec activated... but u will see the RPM climb alot faster... not sure CPS can do it or not... even my gen2 with exhaust and intake mod... also can feel abit when the torque kick in at 4k plus...

for me.. i think gen2 is consider big bootspace.... coz the rear seat can be folded down.... what i carry b4...

3 tables(the square which can be fold) and 6- 10 folding chairs.. 1 shot carry all... even carry a single bed frames(dismentled frames) not all saloon car can do that

Gen2 cps looks much more fierce! N it behave fierce too.

all campro engine also fuel drinker campro ori, campro iafm, campro cps. Those proton sales person or technical person claim campro is fuel efficient, is a lie. Never believe them.

and how do i know you are not lying?Can you come up with proof?

i got 1 campro ori, 1 campro iafm and my firned campro cps. fuel drinker. he reason behind is the bloody siemens ECU.

Please use the correct method to calculate FC bro.

16cent/km -18cent/km for 1.6 car is quite decent already. Last time my LMST (1.3) also got me average 15cent/km. What kind of FC you expect from a 1.6 car?

mine is 19 to 21cents/km

Thats pretty bad I would say. High spirited driving with ocassionally red line also gve me 18cent/km.

That why I say 'decent'. Anyway, I really fuss bout 2-3 cent difference in FC. Only result RM3 difference per 100 litre.

Good one Sphiroth, the RM3 is not enough for 1 teh tarik and nasi lemak...

Before getting Waja CPS, my top of the list preferred car is City VTEC due to its low FC and the VTEC But even with 5cent/km FC difference, will only result saving of RM15 (RM300 fuel monthly) and maybe another RM30 per month from the free service. But the difference in monthly repayment is almost RM200.

Haha i sorta in ur position now, i still thinking whether to get a 2nd hand city VTEC or gen2 CPS. I should decide by end of this yr or maybe early next year on that

City VTEC shiftronic is so cool. But the CVT maintainence and reliability worrying me. As a ocasionally drag my engine to redline. Thats why prefered manual.

is the FC for Gen2 CPS auto is high??
