I did not start the benchmark database, i took it over from wtm0325 who started going busy with his life, at that time, i have a lot of spare time to play around and update those databases. Now that i have my own shop and a full time job to take care off, i need someone to handle it for me, thus, i approach a moderator to switch the threadstarter again, from me to -pWs-.

Same like u, i m not the one who start the benchmark DB thread, i m just helping MOD to update the database. If that guy not satisfy about us, he can discuss it with MOD, let see it is the thread should control by the one who clock frequently, if this approve, ok... then i should change my acc clerk who only know helping take care bill, stock and database, i should find a ppl who know about computer hardware/software/repairing/sales to take care my acc......
The main purpose to create a 3dmark benchmark db thread just for database reference, no discussion there. PPl show their score, then i spend some time input it to database. Easy, right? Why need clock frequently.

Hmm.....hv to agree with -pws- here. Dont have any personal issues with cstkl1, but I find his general posting style as insulting and contemptuous. Just my personal opinion, and in all fairness I think cstkl1 is entitled to post in any style he pleases as long as hez got his facts right and doesnt directly step on anyones toes.

It's not just about one post, in fact, most of his posts is insulting despite varius warnings been given to him.

He is very rude even to me. If I still have my "Staff" tag, I've banned him a long time ago.

This is a place for everyone to share what they know and discuss so it's always good to put proper remarks rather than insulting others. It's just not nice to be rude and if people does it often, it becomes an unacceptable act.

Agree with you fully there clawhammer. What i originally meant was that cstkl1 can write posts in his own unique style, but its not fair doing that while being rude to or insulting others. I have seen myself some of his replies to bryanyeo87(in the ram threads) and you too and I aint no fan of him.

Ez....just give him handle the db....finish.

seriously, cstkl1 is already notorious for rude remarks.

anyway, let this thread be the final warning before action taken.

One thing about cstkl1 is that he acts and talks like he's the only one who can clock well and buy expensive hardwares, it's as if no one else can afford those hardwares.
I remember one of his posts has that kind of remarks, indirectly ofcourse. He even did accuse me of lying that i have some motherboards just because i don't want to show some overclocking screenies. Cocky guy he is.

I think he's ok, i think most people in HW and OCU are stupid anyways and i have never stated anything aside from that, to be honest with you i'm 10 times worse and nobody start thread in my honour.

He's just tellin it how it is leh. You don't like him, PM him, Report to the mods, or counter flame him back, if that doesn't work, take up degree in Microelectronics or Empire23's course in counter flame and a winnar is you. I don't see why a thread is needed for this you lactating wetnurses.

Incase you don't get my drift here are my points.

If he's being an ass,

1) PM him and sort it out with him
2) Counter his argument and slug it out with him
3) Try Ignoring him if you cannot beat him
4) Report him to the mods

I don't think my england in my first post is too complex to understand.

I seriously don't see the reason why there's a whole thread dedicated to him.

2. I do not see the need of PM him. If I am the only one who insulted by him, I will PM him. Moreover, I do not know him.
3. If you are the one being insulted, will you try to ignore him?

If 2 or 3 people has problems with this individual then maybe these 2 or 3 people doesn't like him and has problems themselves. If a group of people share the same view, it's very clear that this single individual is the one with problems.

Besides, it's not that people can't beat his score OR he's good but just because he buys expensive hardware which other people normally won't buy (as a smart consumer)
