No point also lah, those movies are not shot on HD cam and don't feature any lossless audio soundtrack, they're more suitable to remain on standard dvds.

Then how about oldies english movies like casablanca, the searchers, conan, robocop etc? still can be remastered in bluray format. i think all these movies also weren't shot on HD cam. Am i right?

p/s : Anyone know when final fantasy:advent children will be available in bluray?

Robocop got bluray already,but most review say the PQ suck.

Advent Children got bluray also but so far only Japan version i think.

They can be remastered in blu-ray format but don't expect it to look better than dvds, sometimes, it may look worst (soft or grainy). Why waste $$$ on such movies when the source film is inferior and don't look no better than an upscaled dvd, rite?

Robocop's PQ is as teruk as Total Recall, very grainy and you won't know it's a blu-ray version since doesn't look any better its dvd counterpart. They're wasting time mastering such movies on blu-ray, they should concentrate on movies which are worth mastering on blu-ray, nobody will buy the same movie again if the PQ and AQ doh.gif on blu-ray.
