Just realised when my sister bought a cooler that has 3 fans that is like a flat board that is for her notebook.
it cools the laptop that is beneath it.
tried to borrow from my sis and use it as an xbox350 cooler from the bottom.
the fan is not really that strong..is somehow like an air-conditioner fan.
is just COLD but not strong in air movement.

does it help?

oh yea..the cooler is via usb.

any suggestions on laptop/notebook coolers for xbox360?

i'm also using a similar laptop cooler (metal and not plastic plate) for my 360 (horizontal). not sure if it does improve the cooling by much, but it won't cause any further harm so why not?

my 360 is also the old xenon model - manufactured june'06 and still working

that's because you ain't stupid and no life guy that plays 24 hours and get RROD =)

I only play 2 hours..so I have no problems buying Xenon too althought I doubt is not safe.

actually, i'm not sure but the 360 (xenon) is actually more reliable if u on it often to play games

if on/off on/off many times in a short period of time, the hot/cold cycle will exacerbate the mobo warping problem. so rmb to on your 360 every few days (even if just to download arcade demos) and don't ignore it

For My Opinion is Pointless to have a laptop cooler as a cooling option.

agreed.it only cool down the surface.not the inside component.IMO,the reason is
1. usb is low power..5V (fan is sharing power and spins slow)
2. beneath ur laptop got holes everywhere.. but not xbox.

but if put for looks~ (gaya)

I agree with DjiNn..when 3ROD happens..it happens...u know..like shit happens man...just enjoy the moment man...trust me for somebody who have owned 2 360s which broke down (1 ROD, 1 System Error) completely in less then 1.5 years...My gameroom is a small room/closet with Air Cond at 16 degrees....surge protector, arrestor, condoms (incase I was to get lucky in the game room) and every other safe guards and still kena...sigh....Oh well, atleast I still have my PS3..wokei..my two cents opinion....

just enjoy ur games. LOL. if 3rod wants to come, it will come no matter what u do.
