i'm also using a similar laptop cooler (metal and not plastic plate) for my 360 (horizontal). not sure if it does improve the cooling by much, but it won't cause any further harm so why not?

my 360 is also the old xenon model - manufactured june'06 and still working laugh.gif

actually, i'm not sure but the 360 (xenon) is actually more reliable if u on it often to play games rclxub.gif

if on/off on/off many times in a short period of time, the hot/cold cycle will exacerbate the mobo warping problem. so rmb to on your 360 every few days (even if just to download arcade demos) and don't ignore it laugh.gif laugh.gif
