This custom cable is dedicatedly built to provide a significant improvement over the stock cables.

The raw cable and connector are carefully selected based on the design intent of the product. The material being used is to ensure that the specifications of the application are met.

I have adopted high quality cooper cable which is Canare Studio cable that measured to provide the best interference reduction performance as well as audio signal transmission performance. The cable will be sleeved with high quality heatstrink and thermo resistant material and it is very flexible. The structure of Canare Cable is to produce almost non-existent noise when signal transferring.

High quality silver solder (WBT-0820, Leaded Silver Solder, 4% Ag) is used throughout the production to guarantee there is no weak link in between.

The cable will be produce in very careful manner to avoid any mistake and problem, I will fully test my final product before send it to my customer.

The connector being used is high quality and durable. Normally Neutrik connectors especially 3.5mm jack is small and lightweight so it is more suitable for portable while Canare Connector is heavier and bigger if compare to Neutrik. But if u planning to use the cable in long term, I suggest u use Canare connector due to its performance is better.

The cable can be:
1.mini>mini
2.mini>2xRCA
3.RCA>RCA
4.Coaxial cable
5.Others like mono cable, guitar cable adapter and etc.

According to Clear Cables,they searched for the perfect analog interconnect cable, and none was better than the Canare Star Quad Model L-4E6S cable. Star Quad refers to the 4-conductor style construction that minimizes the loop area between twists of the conductors. According to Canare, this "double balanced" pairing reduces susceptibility to electromagnetically induced noise.
L-4E6S uses four 24 gauge annealed copper conductors, that when combined and soldered into the Canare F-09 RCA connectors, result in a pair of 21 Gauge balanced conductors. We ground the 95% braided copper shield to the "transmitting" end of the cable, for superior noise rejection. Other manufacturers mistakenly ground the shield to both connectors, resulting in two ground paths for the cable, and therefore a "ground loop" which causes noise.

ok i tested him out day before yesterday ordered 2 sets of canare f12 star quad interconnects 6" & 12" and comments as follows ..

"order ready in 24 hours & reasonable pricing. 1 of the interconnect failed and promise to redo it tomorrow"

++ for him... except he needs to be more careful with testing before delivery.

give him a chance to try him out.

no i am not using 4e6s. infact my cable is slightly smaller than 4e6s.
4e6s is 24awg. mine is 25awg.
and it's imported cable. i purposely ordered same colour as 4e6s and 2b2at. as previously there's some ppl copy my design too.

recable with 4e6s and 2b2at has too much treble for ksc75 which is originally bright.
i had tested 11 types of cable in recabling ksc75 including silver plated copper. pure silver cable. yada yada...
and what cable i use and where i ordered it will remain as my trade secret. try to do ur own study then =)

Use network cable, 25awg is common cool.gif

But since network cable is a single copper strand it will be quite stiff

look for multistrand 25awg.

Electrical cables are super when it comes to awg.

Like PcWork said do research, you could discover a good electrical wire
for this.

wotiyo can you make a 3.5mm male to female jack for iPhone?
(I think it's a 3.5mm, but it's longer, probably because it accomodates for the mic as well).

I actually bought quite a number of these from http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=592156
It works perfectly fine with my Sennheiser canal phones. But when I plug my Grado in, the cable is very heavy and is yanking the male-to-female connector.

I'm afraid that the connector may actually break, so I'm wondering if you can make something more durable? How much would you charge for it?

Received the cable today. Works flawlessly. but i notice there is a slight 1mm area where the cable is exposed near the female jack, but it is covered by heatshrink material so it's no problem at all, but otherwise a perfect job!

Recommended seller.

hey. i need a 3.5mm cable for my iphone. a really really short male to female one because my current earphones cant fit into the jack. can i get one more to connect to my aego m too?

hi. i dont know much about cables, but can u make me cable with banana plug about 2m to connect my right and left edifier r1900t3? the standard cables are bare wires, so easily damaged everytime i screw it in and out again. so i need banana plug end. or maybe spade type if dont have banana plug. here's the back panel of my speakers, same binding post for left and right speakers.

First impression

big plugs and thick cable of premium quality (2x Canare F10 + 1x Canare F12 + Canare L-4E6S)

got a bit worry that cant fit the RCA jacks of my SB X-Fi Surround 5.1

in fact it fits nicely, and 1 mm space in between the plugs.. sweat.gif tight plug clamp design, giving longer durability

well made, except different length of RCA plugs wiring make me a little bit difficult to connect, a minor issue though..


Test result

The most obvious difference between this cable and the bundled audio cable is that the former has clearer, higher sound level compare to the latter at the same volume setting.

Bass response has lower drag, more powerful and punchier, mid-range is natural and clearer, while high is brighter, but not too bright, at least comfortable and wont hurt my ears...

Guitar string sound is crisper... nod.gif


Conclusion

All these are without any EQ settings, and I personally think that it sounds best without EQ. (even better if you use X-Fi enabled sound card)

Grab this cable if you do not have money to upgrade your speaker, but expect to squeeze more juice out of it

After all, a good seller making great, affordable audiophile grade cable... icon_rolleyes.gif

received my item today!

here's my take:

Item: Mini-to-Mini (3.5mm) using neutrik NYS series mini plug and Canare 4E6S cable

ok, before i go on, i wanna warn that i'm no pro...actually quite a noob...the whole reason why i bot this extension cable is becoz i bot an el-cheapo headphone Sennheiser HD201....cost RM105, but perfect sound to my ears...again, not a prob & the output is good enough to my ears and usage..

the cable length on the HD201 is 3m...the distance between my TV & couch is 4m++ so i needed an extension cable...bot one of a computer accessories shop in Lowyat plaza..RM5 for a 3m length...plug the extension cable in, and immediately the output is halved! crazy...

so as per audiophiles forumer's advise, i bot a headphone amplifier Fiio E3 @ RM35 from lelong.com.my

tried the HD201 & ext cable with E3...ridiculous output....not only wasnt the sound output improved...it actually got worse...the louder i go, the more muffled the sound was...

tried HD201 with E3...perfecto sound quality...so i know the problem lies with the el-cheapo extension cable...

order this Canare 4E6S with Neutrik NYS 3.5mm plugs last week...arrived today...

very nicely constructed...finishing was nice altho there's a small spot that's a little bt scratched...but acceptable...fit snugly into my iphone too..

the packaging that the cable came with is the weirdest of all...comfort socks box wrapped in chinese newspaper hmm.gif but who cares right?

anyways...summary, tried HD201 with E3 & this newly received ext cable...the result?? FLAWLESS rclxm9.gif

would recommend this to anyone!!

neutrik plug fits my CS21 speaker tightly, which generic plug will give loose contact.

original cable sounds like emphasize on midbass, humm humm humm... need to turn down the sub knob.
cheapo cable stole away my bass (bad contact)

this new cable sounds natural, every beat is light & quick. overall listening impression is good.

Bro, do u made 3.5 jack to rca using coaxial cable, i am not sure it sound right, the usage is from my creative sound card 3.5 digital in out jack to my Logitech input for coaxial rca, the purpose is to get the digital sound or can made 3.5 jack to optical input, n wonder i can get the 5.1 digital surround sound. tq

Bro...I would like to upgrade my Mini-to-Mini cable for my Altec Lansing MX5021 that is connected to Asus Xonar U1.

But there might be an issue. I've attached below 3 pics of Asus Xonar U1.
I have know idea whether at the output of Xonar U1, there is enough clearance for either neutrik NYS series minijack or canare F-12 connector.

Received my mini to mini. Made exactly to my requirement and a very very good workmanship I have to say. I can't imagine it any better notworthy.gif

Compared to the crappy mini to mini cable I got with my D4, there's definitely improvement to overall sound quality. Not a fall down the stairs improvement but any small good and likeable changes are always welcome especially with unbelievably low price.

Bro, i didnt owned all highend universal iem lol, only a few lol

For your custom cable, quite shocking finding. It didnt change the sound much, which is a good thing also since i prefer to keep the original sound of TMA1. The only different i noticed is easier to drive; higher SPL at lower volume. In term of speed, decay, attack, timbre, temperature, etc, similar to stock cable. Maybe custom cable requires burn in too?

If compare stock and custom cable to my free cable that come with LCD monitor, the free cable totally POS. Free cable basically make the sound collapse. Bass sound flabby, mid sound forward, soundstage gone.

For built quality, it's as good as stock cable. But i didnt expect it to be so big in diameter. Not really consider portable but at least didnt weight so much and not coiled.

I am interested in the RCA>RCA(in pair) i.e. RM80 using neutrik NYS series RCA gold connector with canare 2T2S cable RM140 using canare F-10 connector with canare 2T2S cable.

I did not browse all the other pages, in short I would like to know:-

1) what is the difference between the neutrik NYS series RCA gold connector and F-10?

2) do you use solid silver for cable? such as those from Stager Silver Solids?

3) what is the price for a 0.5m RCA~RCA cable? I need a short one.

4) is the RCA~RCA cable made by you suitable for a mid priced range CD player (RM1500 to RM3500) and Integrated Amplifier (RM3000) or meet the expectation of audiophile?

Got my cables today! Arrived in a small box. After taking out the cables, couldn't put back in. shakehead.gif. Don't know how you did it bro.

As for the sounds, uh well, considering I was using cheap hardware store ready cables, this one obviously sounds better. Most prominent change was clarity and the separation.

I'll probably need to get a few more cables from you, but that'll have to wait a couple more months. tongue.gif

Hi wotiyo,

Received the cable. Thank you very much. I'm happy. Sounds great. Had some trouble fitting in the 2.5mm jack to headphone because the insulator was a little bit thick but managed to modify it.

Received my 3.5mm interconnect cable yesterday (Tuesday). Tested it with Calmshot's JDS Labs BB cMoy amp + Cube C30 tonight. Very bright sound. No hissing nor buzzing sound. Just perfect. Really appreciate the added transparent heatshrink aswell. Nice braiding, all pretty neat looking.

Planning to get male-to-female 3.5mm extender cable for my ATH-ES7 and probably getting an LOD for my soon-to-be Sansa Fuze (if possible).

Just received my mini to mini cable today. The very first impression once i hook it up with my amp : the sound becomes clearer and better clarity, much better than the ori suckish cable that comes together with my amp.

Hey mate, can I get a quote on a 3.5mm male to 1/4" female, both 1m and 2m? the use is for a keyboard output to amp/sound system (the tricky thing here is that the sound is actually coming from an iPad), so I'm not 100% sure if it should be stereo or mono.
