KLINIK PERGIGIAN ZAINUDDIN DAN ORTHODONTIK

ADDRESS: No. 36-1 Jalan Tanjung SD13/1
Bandar Sri Damansara
52200 Kuala Lumpur

CASE: OVERCHARGE MY FRIEND BY 40% OF NORMAL RATE.

Hi, my friend recently told me not to visit this clinic after his experience with this rude and unethical doctor. He went to visit this doctor for the first time where, he need to repair his chipped teeth. The doctor scares him off by telling him that his teeth is in really bad condition. However, this friend of mine only manage to repair one teeth that day because he charge RM 100.00 for a teeth repair and my friend only have RM 100+ that time, as he wasn't expecting serious teeth problems. Then, he told me that he visited another doctor today, that told him very precisely how many teeth he have problem with. In the end, the doctor only charge RM 60.00 a teeth for the same services.

This is why i am here to advice residents of Bandar Sri Damansara, Sri Damansara, Kepong, Maluri, Manjalara, Aman Puri to visit this clinic at ur own risk. For those who have visited this clinic, feel free to share your experience over here. smile.gif

For those who have visited dentist normally, feel free to share the rate of teeth repair over here. is RM 60.00 the standard price? smile.gif

depends on what kind of things done....here is a basic price I pay:-

for filling (repairing those teeth with holes/chipped):-
rm50 for big tooth and rm25-35 for smaller tooth
and nowadays they dun use the filling that looks like metal color anymore, they use some kind of filling that have the color looks like your tooth.....

for root canal treatment (for those tooth that cannot be repaired using filling, but you still want to save the tooth and dun wan to cabut):-
rm300 for 3 treatments : rm100 per treatment

for crowning (to help give more strength and protection to those tooth that you have done root canal treatment):-
rm500 per tooth

for wisdom tooth (cabut/operation of the last tooth that may/may not cause irritation and misaalignment of other teeth):-
rm100 - rm150 per tooth for those done in 1-2 hours......
for those done in hospital where they ward you, then you kena pay a whole lot more......

hope this helps...

p/s- this is not done at some kampung area or tepi jalan using plyers........done at Klinik Loke and Loke, Jalan Kenangga, KL. i like this doctor because he is no nonsense guy who tell you straight to the point what is wrong and what is needed without some grandma/grandpa stories to scared you and best of all, his price is good.......

There are no fix rates for this service. Some charge higher and some lower same goes to lawyer consultation fees. Not all lawyer charge the same fee for their service so you can't argue.Blame your friend for not seeing the price or asking the doctor correctly for the charge

lawyer different case la. besides, they are govern by BAR in Malaysia. there is certain control in the fees that they are able to receive. for doctor, i don't think that normal ppl who is sick will go to the clinic to check out the price to find out which clinic provide cheaper rates lor... smile.gif

im sure there r much more expensive dentists.. some are really good, thats why they can charge premiums.. and some cant charge premiums coz they aren't well-known/good..

people will still pay.. so u cannot just say that this particular dentist is no good because he charged alot higher than others..

I visited a dentist in TTDI about my retainers (I had my braces and retainers done in KK, and moved here), but instead he stuck me in the room for about 30 minutes showing me a presentation about gummy smile operations (Which he says that I have). He also over-tightened my retainers, leading to some problems and in the end had to go to another dentist to rectify the problem.

LOL. stupid thread from what I see so far.

look, it's a service. everything may seem SAME to you but it doesn't not necessarily mean the same. arguably the one that charged 40% more could be actually 40% better......OR MORE......... or not as good. smile.gif

again, it's not something quantifiable. just because they charge more that doesn't mean they're attempting to CON you. people have reasons on why they charge X amount for their service and it's really up to you whether you want to engage their service.

case in point.......

notice how ridiculous the thread is?

TS is clearly accusing people of overcharging when in the first place not even certain what's the normal rate!

not even sure yet want to accuse.

and this is NOT A section for you to COMPLAIN about SHOPS / RESTAURANTS and whatever else you know.
