Very funny their visa system , it really depend on the officer who is looking your case, they can simply hantam & reject your visa.
Then reapply and let system randomly assign to another officer and submitted the exact same document , approved pulak....

I suggest you apply 600 + 601 at the same time , if eta rejected , apply again and again until it approve.

basically i applied 601 visa and 600 visa at the same time , total paid aud 20 and aud 145
after that keep reapply 601 visa by paying 20 aud again and again

601 visa get finalized around 50 days and tell me rejected, reason is they dont convince i will back to malaysia.
600 still forever pending

601 is rejected by australian embassy kuala lumpur
600 need to be finalized by australia side

submitted long list of document they still reject
as long as the officer happy they will approve you haha

Their visa system is abit different compare other countries , previously they did ban a celebrity visa despite how rich he is.
Funny things is submitted the exact same document but park under different approving officer , the second officer approved it

Seems like they got certain rules for auto approval by system , those not auto approve have to spend lots of time submitting extra document for processing.
Is your passport old passport ? Or new passport this year ?

yes you are right , because their side change government , new people just started to work on 1st july.
They changed lots of SOP including the system / forms
