Once you've unlocked the iPhone, it should work with any carrier.

Usually if you see that there's an "Installer" icon in the iPhone, then it means that it is already Jailbroken.
You can connect to your WiFi at home, just turn Wifi on and connect to your own network! iPhone will choose wifi over edge whenever available. As said above, if you want to permanently disable EDGE in fear of data charges, you can install "BossPref" tool. |
