first off - apologies if i am posting this in the wrong section; am relatively new here.

i cracked the plastic screen housing of my blackberry 8300 and i am heartbroken. i'm looking to replace the housing (from an authorised dealer if possible), so if anyone could point me in the right direction, i'd really appreciate it.

either an authorised blackberry dealer/anyplace that can do a housing replacement.

screen is cracked, but the LCD is fine. prices would also be greatly appreciated.

again - thanks in advance.

thanks reuben - will check the user out and send him a PM.

my service provider is maxis, and they said there is a wait of up till 3 months - which is ridiculous. they also wouldn't give me a price quote, but said it would be in the region of rm300 which imo was a rip off. found a store in summit who was able to get the housing, but gave me a quote of rm280 which is ridiculous!

i got my blackberry from before i got back to malaysia; unlocked it and am using it without the bb connect. i don't need all that - just text and calls. the phone was free, anyway.

but i've fallen in love with it, and feel like i cannot live without a BB; hence the dire need for fixing the screen ASAP sad.gif

edit: reubrn; i can't seem to find the user "bearbrick"; need your assistance if you don't mind, mate.
