ok i saw that there's a rock, pop metal etc section
but to tell you all the truth, i don't really know what you guys talking about because of my taste of music
you see i basically don't listen to new music so i don't really know what artist you guys talking about. i love listening to retro music from the 60s - 90s .

so does anyone here listen to "yesteryear" musics? pop, rock etc can be discussed here. but im really into rock & roll, metal and grunge, blues.

So here's my list of favorite artist which i listen

AC/DC
Rolling Stones
Aerosmith
Beastie Boys
Bon Jovi
The Cranberries
Deep Purple
Eagles
Elvis Presley (The King!!)
Foo Fighters
Green Day
Gun N Roses
Jimi Hendrix & the Band of Gypsys
KISS
Led Zeppelin
Meat Puppets
Motor Head
Nirvana
Scorpions
Sex Pistol
Tenacious D
The Ramones
The Who
ZZ-Top
Black Sabbath
Bob Marley
Queens

As you guys can see, im more into rock. So i just want to know who in this forum listen to old musics. Can also recommend me some smile.gif

haih how many times did i tell u guys, thats not my full list. it's just my favorite
of course i've heard of the godfather of soul
as for hip hop, sorry i don't really listen to hip hop music.
Beastie Boys is the only band that i like that is as close to Rap or hip hop

btw im trying to find a song that i dont even know whats the title
it's a main theme from one of the old Vietnam War film series that shows in TV2 about 1990-1991 (i think)
that song in the USA is for the Vietnam War propaganda
any idea what song is it?

Hey Sidthesloth, I think you're referring to Rolling Stone's 'Paint it Black' since you said it's about Vietnam War story aired by TV2 in the early 90', I think the title is 'NAM, tour of duty'

try find the name 'Chris Farlowe' I did some search and found out that he's also sang paint it black, maybe his version of the song that you're looking for.

If he's not the one you should try wiki 'paint it black' and there's a list of bands which played the song and from there you probably can find the one that you're looking for.

Kansas - Carry On Wayward Son

I found the vinyl in my storeroom while cleaning belonged to my mom. Sounds a little murky but it was awesome!
