QUOTE(ilham87 @ Sep 7 2008, 10:19 PM) Any EEEPC 900 30GB Hdd user here? I would like to recommend you guys to replace the hdd. As we all know, eeepc 900 30GB hdd is damn slow due to the usage of 1.8" HDD and consume a lot of energy. But today, i bought 32GB Samsung 1.8" SSD. According to datasheet, this samsung ssd can read up to 57MB/s and write up to 38MB/s compare to normal 1.8" HDD read speed around 30MB/s and 20MB/s write speed. Even SSD installed inside eeepc900 and eeepc 901 ssd version can achieve 40MB/s read speed and 20MB/s write speed only. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « waa. manyak duit. why take ssd 32gb? why not install bigger memory hdd? |

QUOTE(Perfect-Stranger @ Sep 8 2008, 07:56 PM) Actually the RAM is for you to do multi tasking at the same time. not all. my 701 512mb It is like a Highway on the road which provides how many lanes for the cars to passby at one time. Well, you can see the difference if you upgrade it from 1GB to 2GB especially when you open 2-3 Internet Explorer together with your Messenger. All Eee PC comes with 1GB Ram.. No worries, you try to make urself comfortable with ur ee pc first. When feel like abit laggy then only you changed to 2GB RAM It wont void the warranty also xD Yea, everyone want to clear the old stock now, especially 1000H 80gb |
