actually i want ps3 because i love ps and japanese game
but there are no pirate game for ps3 yet ..im not that rich to buy ps3 game

so i choose xbox360
i like xbox360 because their games is ok right now..and cheap
but i always heard this 3rod thing..

so maybe i choose wii..
never heard any wii problems yet..its fun to play..

so which one i should buy??
i think i like xbox360 more.
is there anyway to avoid 3rod ??

Do some research. You like Japanese games, do some research on these 3 consoles and see whether it has titles you like. Look for future titles aswell, and where it's headed.

i like ps3 game..but it is so expensive so i have to choose between 360 or wii..

Depends on what kinda games you like to play. Wii third party games are not looking so good right now ... unless you like mario then 360 is for you ...

well i think rite now 360 getting better man...if u wanna get 360 , get the falcon unit...nintendo wii good console but the games , not as good as 360 or ps3.

Since you said actually you want the PS3, get the PS3. It's better to spend your money on something you really want or else you will regret later. The PS3 has lifespan of ten years. This year alone there are many great games coming to it. It's really worth your money. The original games are not a problem. No need to buy many games. Get a few titles that you really really like and that you can play online - that way it's hard to get bored.

As far as I know, there are no such chip, only the codename of the modbo ..'falcon'..

Gamers might think that piracy is a gift from heaven but it is not only bad for the gaming industry, it is bad for the gamer him/herself also.

When i got my ps2 1.5 years ago. I buy games all the time. Here and there i will buy and buy. But in the end I never completed any of them. The only game i played most is FFXII, even that also I never finish. Spent over hundreds of hours playing it but in the end still left it there.

With so many choices around we tend to be greedy. All we want to play, all we want to have, but in the end how many games can we finish?

Game developers spent years and millions of dollars developing the game. Not only they did not get a single cent from game piracy, their efforts went down the drain coz we never appreciate the game. Some of the games i just open and see the FMVs then it goes back to the casing. Haha. I feel ashamed of what I've done.

Buying original games is different. With no choice around, u will stick to that game and try to finish it. The thought of you spending RM200 on that game will further motivate you to finish it.

So if you are a real gamer and you really feel that you want PS3, why not get it? At least u know it is something u like and you will really spend time and effort on it.

Today u buy xbox 360, tomorrow FFXIII released in PS3, then u will be thinking, I should've bought PS3 in the first place. In the end your mind will always be with PS3, in the end u will buy PS3 and then the X360 will collect dust.

I m speaking from experience. My PS2 is collecting dust now. I rarely even touch it nowadays. Wanted a PSP but got the NDSL instead. Now NDSL collecting dust coz i spend my time more with PSP.

Sigh it's a vicious cycle lah. To each it's own. Just make a decision that you won't regret.

it depends on what types of games u like? And also wii graphics are only little better than PS2.

For me... Wii not my type la.. bought 2 Wii already.. in the end i sold both .... coz.. busan... ... the gfx.. "better sikit" je dari PS2... & i kurang suka bersenam.. .... so tired... Now i own PS3 & 360.. both superb console... the gfx.. almost the same.. ..

So bro if u wanna buy.. choose correct console.. ok.. peace...

Low graphic doesn't mean the game isn't good.
Look at No More Heroes, SMG & SMBB and really looking forward to Mario Wii kart I will be getting mine from Playasia via Fedex arriving tomorrow morning Can't wait

But i find games exclusive for PS3 graphics are SUPERB comparing to games that are made for Both Console.

erkk for me ... GFX is important ... coz... im want to move forward not backward... .... 3rd gen console should be superb gfx.. not like PS2 or PS1 gfx... ....

Sorry but i have to say your naive in perceiving games. How can you compare the current gen consolve vs 2 gen behind. LOGICALLY It's not in the same league. Buying a Wii doesn't mean your moving backward.This may be your opinion. For me it's the games that matters.

I was a photographer and I must have a mindset that it's not the equipment that produce great photos it's the photographer. I was brought up with this concept so what ever weakness the console may I just don't bother to look into it. I just want to have FUN most out of my console. Nomatter Wii, Xbox 360 or PS3. in my house, Wii, XBOX and PS3 all live as one .. not battling out whois better
