anybody can help me in this. and give me any solution

i bought an iphone few weeks ago in china. it an 8 gb ver 1.0.2 and already been cracked to be used with any line.

the problem is it not recognised by my mac book pro. it doesnt detect the usb connection(i cant even charge it using usb cable). i can only charge the phone using supplied firewire connection but unable to be recognise by itune either.


pls help

i dont think so.. As my friend do import iphones and he have sell more than 300 pieces. SO far, not even 1 have problem, unless u drop it on the floor.

Stop giving false assumption as u do not know what is wrong with it.

May i know wat version is ur Itunes?

is it iphone by apple? or simply iphone china?

its a real 8 gbiphone..i can use it as phone and charge using firewire. but unable to connect to my macbook pro which using itune 7.6.2 (even not charging via usb)

erm... i don't own an iphone but i see that u cannot even charge with the usb right? maybe try cleaning your usb cable head... or maybe there is something inside your iphone usb port... try using a cotton to clean it...

done that..even i tried the reset button, changing the cable,use different mac and even pc ..still nothing

happened to me once. have to restore the iphone. if you need help, try to pm me

but 1 thing, if your itunes cant recognize the iphone can restore it's version? Hard reset?

i guess the cable is fake !

try to get the original iphone cable.

if u buy original .. you should have original stuff...
or maybe they gave u original iphone but others all fake ..
anyway have you try different cables?
as far as i know, the iphone cable is USB .. not firewire ..

iphone got firewire? haha...lol... steve jobs also dont have that...

Post the photo of the iPhone and it's accessories (cables and all), maybe we can determine what's your real issue?

Is the iPhone a real one?

If yes, put it recovery mode, update to 1.1.4 and jailbreak+unlock again

i cant rmb exactly how to do it or what this step is called


make sure the iphone is docked to the pc or mac


hold sleep/wake & home button for a few secs, then whilst continue holding sleep/wake button and release home button. it should be detected. cant rmb the exact step, so try all combinations

I got that cable on the left when I purchased my iPod Nano which bundled together at Mac City which has clip mechanism.

The iPhone comes with the cable on the right.

i am using 2 cables; 1 on the electrical socket and 1 one the desktop. the desktop one is taken from an ipod video and it works flawless. u cant tell if its a fake until u actually see the cable.

Are you referring the electrical socket as the outlet charger?
