V-Gundam series is the last in UC series, thus I think MGs from that series will not be released in the near time, considering Bandai also began 2.0'ing their old MGs
The O did have MG b4, but for display only, for ppl to vote the next MG (between MG The O or MG Zeong, in which the latter wins and mass-produced). Still, if have enough demand, it is possible for Bandai to produce MG The O in the future

Maybe coz Zeong is more nostalgic? Plus the pilot is Char
I think Bandai did make poll for selecting next MG, but only in Japan la, and in selected place also (poll to select Zeong or The O also happen in a certain shopping complex in Japan (i 4got the name) in which they display the completed MG The O and MG Zeong, for ppl to vote)
