dip in then must get it resprayed. metallic paint are different from gloss paint.
painting by hand even the strength of the stroke affects the shade of the paint. spraying is most uniform..thats why they spray ur paint not paint brush.

to fix dip in, they apply some filler. the red colored clay. wait for it to be dried then sand it down. the entire surface to be painted will be lightly sanded as well. this will also provide a better grip for the new paint to stick on. they'll clean it with a solvent...usually they use petrol then blast it with air to remove any residue.
metallic paint is first sprayed then a clear coat is sprayed on....finally polish it with a very fine abrasive compound to make it shine like mirror.

get the paint from paint shops. drive ur car there and give them the color code located in ur engine bay. then request for color matching...they'll match it 99% to ur body color which might be slightly differ due to weather exposure, etc

i dont have such issues also...
i switch my temp level to 50% only and used air con filter too...
maybe u blasted the air con temperature to the max level?
