same here, those decard stuff seem like commercial trick. if those decard stuff can clean carbon easily, then no more overhaul needed.

maybe kokifung can feel the differences is bcos the seller keep high rev the engine...
that why engine feel more responsive after de-carbon because the ECU read/detect the driver keep high rev and A/F ratio not in recommended level, so the ECU inject more fuel and air into engine for high rev, so after de-carbon while at idle rpm, that why engine perform better while low rpm because ECU still giving rich A/F ratio into engine...

if wanna test de-carbon really effective...
1. dont high rev while de-carbon-ing, use idle rpm to de-carbon and check the result after de-carbon...
2. reset the ECU before de-carbon and after de-carbon (high rev)... check the differences between before and after reseted ECU...

i think kokifung should try this on his next de-carbon project...

erm.. after smooth liou or jalan more then 100km 1st then pump V-Power to rev ur new myvi ya..
highway better.. speed up till 150km if u dare la.. or can rev as in drag race...
i not encouraging u to race ar.. do it in safe way to so call boost up ur vivi or lame man term activate ur dvvt system wor...

if really wanna rev kow kow.. must sure u have enuff road to do so..
