*
dun let him cut in...drive like u nvr see him. if he's so good to over take going up hill, let him show is skill, cut in if he manages to do so

vivi power??...its very good in acceleration and at speeds below 160. can outrun many wajalution or wiralution...

when it comes to straights....bye bye liao cry.gif

really??

mine one is very very new....
now jz 622KM only...

now fuel price so high..
i just take train to work...
seldom drive...one week around drive 50KM ~ 100KM only...

sweat.gif
*
manual gear is lidat...im using SR which only comes in manual.

during my first 3000km...i complaint pain in my wrist after driving back from kl. its the vibration from the engine due to the gear linkage.
myvi's manual gear uses link shifter...which is basically a metal rod with some rubber bush(i went under my car when they jacked it up at the authorised SC.
basically its gear stick->metal rod->gearbox.

Won't be as viable at this point yet unless u travel like 2000km per month then u can break even in 7-8 months... Otherwise... it'll take u about 2 years...

Of course if the petrol price go up till RM4 then diff story liao...

Anyway, things are juz settling down at this time or I should say that it's still as stirred up as last week... Give abit of time b4 u decide whether to NGV or not... Meanwhile drive if it's within ur means otherwise publictransport~
As to those uncles, if I'm in a hurry, and in the mood to cucuk the front SUV, I'll do that... Otherwise I'll juz let him pass coz what's the point of us getting worked up over idiots who are gonna be a statistic one day on the road? biggrin.gif
*
its the maintainance thats worrying. airport limos running ngv frequently talk about valve and gasket failure. its due to the engine construction and the nature of the gas. very dry, no lubricating properties and burns hotter

thats why kl taxis still using old proton saga which uses that old japanese engine....cheaper and can withstand ngv usage better

quite mahal...but wat u pay=wat u get.

all made from pu instead of fiber so its lighter and takes impact better.

like pirated music cd, cheap but sometimes have compromise. ori=problem free but expensive

If u afraid of sludges, then u should change more often. 3 months or so not half a year le........half a year on semi syn...... sweat.gif

Added on June 12, 2008, 11:40 am

There is cheaper range. Like motul H-tech. Now 4L is selling rm150++
*
sludge?? i think not much problem la...since the sludge accumulates at the bottom of the oil sump. and the oil sump has a deeper section to contain any heavy stuffs in the lube...by the time u drive ur car to the sc, the heat should soften it so it should flow out easy

*
no need paiseh la....myvi thread ppl are friendly. actually i also dunno wat to reply..so i just write spam detected....

remember to service ur baby at 1000km....my friend nvr service her car 1...thought is 5000km.
after service, ur car will be smoother and have better FC.
service at authorised sc...not p2 sc. they are friendlier then p2 since its operated by private company. they allow u to go into the servicing area....they even allow me under my car when they jacked it up.

whereas p2 sc, if u want to see ur vivi getting serviced in the servicing area, they reply"kita tak de insurans untuk u"

Added on June 12, 2008, 9:59 pmauthorised sc no need booking also. just walk in... thumbup.gif

haha..i covering nilai area oso lar..will go there quite often.btw u study there?>
*
authorised sc same same 1.. still have warranty. unless when it comes to claims then u have to go to p2 sc

most p2 sc need to book, good sc usually need to wait for 3 days or so or either is far away such as shah alam

Added on June 12, 2008, 11:34 pmefficiency ar...no idea. my 2nd service..takes 1 hour. not in a rush at all.

open the cover...look here look there, top up my radiator coolant. take my filter for air blasting. take a cloth wipe wipe the air box.

then disappear into the shop...then come out with the lube...slowly loosened the oil sump plug...

depends on the scratch...i painted my front bumper for rm150.

minor stuffs like stone chip or small scratches...get some paint and do touch up. at least it won't look obvious. rm30 half can+rm0.50 paint brush and some old newspaper

so far....from the touch up, i would say 70% look like original for my door scratches. so its not noticable unless u put it under the sun.
for my bumper, can't notice anything mainly its on the bottom side of my front bumper. i always hit the kerb when parking diagonally.
