i think for those distributer here , they might straight bring it in through US which mean just straight forward and not translation in between Euro or Pound etc .

If the plan is $50 per month, then you'll need to pay 22 x $50 = $1100.
They will be blacklist you, which means you will have hard time to sign up again in the future.
The blacklist is shared by all telcos in the country.

Btw, you are only eligible to sign the plan if you are the country citizen, PR, holder of work permit/pass or etc.
You cannot simply sign the plan, pay for the forfeit and take the phone back to malaysia.

What improved wireless signal? 1st gen iphone antenna cover is also plastic la. The black bottom part, thats the antenna (wifi n cell). The aluminium back is just the casing like the old nokia titanium (correct aaaa?) phone. If 1st gen back all metal then the 2nd gen really la improve the signal quality. Correct o not?

The Hong Kong version is not locked to HK operators. Works on Hutchison non-3G SIM and also Smartone Vodafone. Will try Maxis later and update you guys. My Maxis SIM is not with me.

The 3G version's physical dimensions are almost the same as the old iPhone, but feels smaller in your hand due to the bevelled sides and is lighter. But the black shiny back really shows up fingerprints. Took me a good 10 mins searching thru the box for the bloody SIM removal pin .... will explain later with a pic. Cheers.

Edit - ok, just inserted Maxis SIM and it works. Now roaming with CSL on Maxis SIM.

Bro, I'm losing more and more hope of getting one. Today's Saturday, and the store closes at 1500. Sunday's close, and Monday opens at 0900, but my contact needs to get ready for work by 0950. Do you think the line will be long, because my contact definitely still see a line for the iPhone.

The line may be long probably because of the need to line activation while you complete your purchaseinside the store, right? How about for those who wants to get the phone outright, without a line at all? They should be allowed to make their purchase without having to line up with those wanting a contract subscription as well.

I've already resented to the fact that I will not see my precious until next month. Checked Orange France and T-Mobile Germany, and both seems to not have no-contract iPhones available until later in the future. Damn all this wrong timing to hell! 

Things would have been INFINTELY easier if these bastards just man up and sell it as it is, rather than pushing that Vodafone crap down our throats! Dont they understand that nobody wants to subscribe to the most expensive contract on Earth (yes, this is true, calculate their cheapest plan and compare), I just want the bloody iPhone goddamnit!

They are listed on the Vodafone NZ site, and Vodafone itself advertises the no-contract iPhones as being available at their stores, and that include these arseholes as well! Why the bloody fcuk are they pushing their stinkin' plan up my face, when I'm not even an NZ resident? Don't they bloody understand muthafarking English!?
