QUOTE(mADmAN @ Jun 5 2008, 03:00 PM) i know what u mean ler... yes the price is a lil on the expensive side.... but i wouldnt go to the point of saying they have no ethics man..... mainly because ive seen worse. put it this way.... 55*2 = 110 alignment = rm25 balancing (rm5*4) = 20 total RM155. considering u got RM5 discount its ok mah.... BUT i have to say the camber nuts are a lil expensive... they usually dont cost more than RM50. so again...a lil expensive...but not up to being no ethics Haha... Different people different view... Anyway... I am already being cheated... Should have done some homework... And it is actually RM6 per tyre... And I am not as rich as some others out there... Every RM1 counts for me... Maybe you got more money to spend, but not me... And about the rear absorber, as I am always carrying people behind, so the rear absorber is kinda "soft" now. Any recommendations to raise the back a little bit? Some of my friends say add some material(rubber?)? This post has been edited by vincent_ng86: Jun 6 2008, 10:09 AM

QUOTE(loonz85 @ Jun 6 2008, 10:23 AM) wow~~ geng wor~~ ^^ how u maintain it~~ Most of the time, only 1 person using it. But it is definitely overdue for a change. Looking around now for replacement, also the spring. I thought I saw in LYN somebody is selling some custom spring. Did you guys see it? They said it is better than the stock. What's your view?

QUOTE(vincent_ng86 @ Jun 4 2008, 03:37 PM) Anyone having front wheels balancing problem where the front wheels became / -- \ <-- Front Wheels. |----| <-- Rear Wheels. The mechanic told me to install two camber nuts to fix them. RM55 per wheel. And do you guys do alignments and balancing in tyre shops other than Perodua Service Centre? May I know how much they charge normally and do they impose Government and Service Tax? I think to do alignments and balancing in tyre shops will cost you around RM45-50 without tax. No, if you do it outsite they don't charge Government and Service Tax.

What's your view? uncle comfort has been proven to lengthen the service life of your stock shocks, but really, if you really long lasting shocks, use uncle comfort + kayaba excel G. i have a pair from the back which is hardly used. i can give it to you if you want. gas charged, stiffer than stock, if you want to carry 4 people (1 in front, 3 in back), the suspension won't bottom out even on stock springs. its that good.

Give me free? Wow thanks, its used item rite? Do you have the link to the uncle comfort thread? Maybe I can ask them to help me install the shocks too. But why you don't want to use that kayaba?

Why not you go to a showroom and test drive both cars? There will be other aspects to be considered too and your personal preference, which none of us here can decide for you.
